- Fixed visibility issues in bright environments
- Reduced delay before the swirls start in order to accommodate short taunts

- A lot has changed in the world since the last update, but Translators Like You (- Thank You) continue to work their magic to help put together some updated localization files

- This is just the 2nd update to occur in 2022 so far. A new 2nd-longest drought of 82 days (from 1/5/22 through to today) has been brought to an end with this update

- The old 2nd-longest drought now becomes 3rd-longest, which was an 80 day stretch from 1/18/20 to 4/7/20

- The first half of the year has been prone to repetitive droughts in recent years. By this point in 2021, 2 updates had also been released (the next on 6/22/21 ended the record-long drought of 112 days). By this point in 2020, 1 update was released (the next not until 4/7/20). And by this point in 2019, 4 updates had been released

– Operation Riptide has come to an end. Players who have unredeemed operation stars will have until March 27th to claim their operation rewards.
– All game modes introduced during Operation Riptide remain available.

[MAPS]
– Basalt, Insertion II, Ravine, Extraction, and County have been removed from their respective map pools
– Iris and Climb have been added to official matchmaking in Casual, Competitive, and Deathmatch game modes.
– Crete and Hive have been added to official matchmaking in Wingman game mode.
– Vineyard and Ember have been added to official matchmaking in Danger Zone game mode.

Rumor has it:

- Aside from the Map Tokens that are given out to creators of community maps in the Prototype quality (similar to Self-Made in TF2 and Dota 2), what you see above is pretty much what you're getting - not even a single new translation in sight

– Various default binding changes for controllers only. Quick Buy radial menus are triggered with the D-Pad and Bumper Buttons while the BuyZoneLayer is active.
– Simplified set of Radial Action Override Layers. By default, the right stick is used to control the radial. If XYAB are bound to a radial button, the left stick is used instead.
– Fixes for DeathMatch BuyZoneLayer.
– Console/Quick Buy Radial menus match the same layout of the conventional Buy menu.
– Danger Zone Controller Support: Fixed Spawn Menu Controls. Fixed Drone strafing.
– Known issue: Button binds in Action Override Layers are not displayed in in-line glyphs.

- Use of radio commands intended for bots is no longer possible according to several reports, which means an end to climaxing through spamming "deathcry" in console or through a bound key
- However if you're a community server operator who didn't mind their players "spraying all over the server", "sv_playerradio_use_allowlist" has been added in and can be set to 0 to restore the old behavior if really passionate "death cries" are desired

- This update is mostly what-you-see-above-is-what-you-get. With that said, there's also a decently sized set of new and updated translations, which are made possible with the help of contributions from Translators Like You - Thank You

– Blocked off a sightline from on top of the meat/egg shelf into backroom toilet in Market.

- One weapon in Dreams & Nightmares that will look a little different for users under Steam China/Perfect World influence in mainland China is the Five-SeveN Scrawl. China's government is known to hate gore and gore-like things such as depictions of skulls, however a bit of skin and a couple of bandages ought to be a-okay

- This is the new Diamond coin for Operation Riptide, which some may have confused for the Silver coin, particularly at smaller sizes displayed on leaderboards. Here's what it used to look like
- Said smaller sizes for comparison: old Diamond, new Diamond, unchanged Silver

- Beyond that, this update is mostly a WYSIWYG one since we've already known the winners of Dreams & Nightmares for some time now, but that won't stop me from mentioning that there's been a good chunk of new and updated translations of strings added in the last little while, which are made possible with the help of Translators Like You - Thank You
