That's not quite the story, at least towards the earlier parts of the settlement of the continent. There were three main colonies: France, Spain, and England. They were pretty much fighting over land during the 1600s-1760s, until lines were more clearly drawn, with France losing nearly all of their colonies to England, and Spain not really getting involved with the fights between England and France, which culminated in the French and Indian war (misleading name. it's done so because of the Indian's assistance to France).

I would like to limit this to tf.tv only, so i can have the peace of mind knowing that if i need the server for a scirm or something i won't have some 12 year old refusing to leave.
people really need to stop hating on him. He's really improved a lot- personality and ingame-, and although there's still a lot of progress to be made, he actually is getting better.
Thanks for server, will definitely use it with friends (tftv only, i know) as well.

BenkwwalrusBenkThe point of the project is to practice critical thinking and problem solving, yet you're asking us.I understand what you're saying. However, grades are too important to not to outside research- note that I came up with a design at first, then asked people what they would do.
Oh well it's a pretty silly assignment anyways. I'm surprised you actually get a quantitative grade based on the height. Considering the goal is for you to brainstorm and think outside the box, the student with the tallest tower didn't necessarily learn the most. He probably just researched what the best design was.
I'd do the same thing. That's why i said it's dumb that you are graded on the height. It promotes a bad approach to the problem.
I'm pretty sure, given this is the first assignment, that he won't actually grade us on it and will use it to get a feel of where most of the students are. Either way, I don't want to take chances.
