MiNiThis guy was on my hl team for about a week, it was obvious he was hacking. Around the time we caught him he was leaving tf2 on 24/7 to build up hours.
Just look at his fucking stats, 54 hours of actual gameplay for 4k hours of TF2 open

nope"I played TF2 Competitively at every level and every gamemode in UGC.
Now I focus on life, but if you want to catch me when I'm playing osu! you can find me here "
bahahaha
Actually the guy I talked about on page 2 was named Luc, he was from Canada and in my experience with him, he actually did play in HL, 6s, and 4s at Iron, Steel, Silver, and Gold, I wouldn't be surprised if some plat team picked him up or if he's just bullshitting that part
His arrogance and the way he talks in the groups he's in sounds a lot like the guy I knew
EDIT: I just went to the Twitch page listed and looked at his followers. A couple of people from the old teams I was in with him are following him. This is definitely the same guy, and he's definitely hacked. I can't speak for now, but he's hacked in the past and it probably wasn't the only time.

You can match the VAC date with the HL season 13 dates to verify. His new account being rostered in SOS (HL steel) lines up with the VAC date. IIRC it was on a Friday night. It was also Ashville week, which lines up with my earlier claim of KOTH scrims. I mainly remember because the co-leader and I were panicking all weekend trying to get the team together, it was a hell of a shakedown.
i just contacted comcast's chat and somehow managed to get someone who knows what he's talking about
we're paying for 105 down but only getting 25-30, he's scheduled a technician to come out on Tuesday to replace our modem, we'll see what happens then
thanks tf.tv for inspiring me to fix my internet
Frankly, as unhelpful as I know it is...
TF2's demo system, especially with POV demos, fucking sucks. Any glitches or errors you see in playback, along with any bugs involving crashing or consistently reproducible issues, are normal behavior.
Welcome to Team Fortress 2.
Although, you can always try a hud_reloadscheme or changing model quality while paused, the latter of which forces a complete re-initialization of the render window.
DirtyMortThis game looks sick

You should force all stock weapons for that nostalgic feel, who the fuck needs gunboats or kritz anyway
backquasYes.
Looking at the code now that I'm on a computer, what I would do is host a list of Steam IDs in a raw file in your git repository. That way you could update it with commits without having to update the actual code itself - people could just download the scrub detector and every time they enter a new lobby, it would fetch a fresh list of hackers. Could easily have pull requests for submitting new hackers, too.
How does it detect cheaters? Matches steam IDs from a known list?
team lol for president 2015
backquasI always thought that only Wine and similar software does this work and TF2 uses OpenGL without any conversion layers. Am I right?
WINE converts every single Windows call to a Linux-compatible one, which does often include its own DirectX implementation that remaps to OpenGL. However, that's more of a brute force method. If I recall correctly, Source on non-Windows platforms does map DirectX to OpenGL itself, though because it handles that itself without some wonky compatibility layer, it's going to perform a lot better and have fewer issues.
I believe this is why the Orange Box was on the 360 directly from Valve, while the PS3 version actually had EA as a developer, on top of being the publisher (EA published both). EA was in charge of working on the OpenGL remapping for the PS3, which only runs OpenGL, but the game worked just fine on the 360 which supported DirectX.
TechDudeMake sure the laptop is set to the high performance power option and plugged in.
KrankPlease note that I am using a laptop, and I've set my battery power option to "High Performance".
You're having some issues loading certain UI textures.
Try either going back to the default TF2 UI. You could also check and see if you've got Optimus on the laptop, and if so, see if your integrated GPU is the one running TF2. In your system tray, you should have a notification that looks like this:
http://users.wfu.edu/yipcw/lenovo/2011/w520/images/w520-optimus-tray-1.gif
It should look like the bottom image, not the top image. There should be a Half-Life 2 logo in that list. If so, you're fine, otherwise, tell me.
