Sue me but these are awesome. The amount of effort that must have gone into getting all of these recordings is crazy and shows they do care even if you don't like their balance changes.

cyzermedic is SUPPOSED to be stressful, it's not a fragging class. The whole point is to track things and use movement and good positioning to stay alive. Skilled medics got a buff with the crossbow.
Scouts don't need to be pocketted mindlessly either, they should be aware of their positioning relative to their medic, not just run be able to run around and have the medic follow, makes the class even more OP
I didn't say it removed all the stressful elements from playing medic. I just meant it's going to stop me from having anxiety attacks all the time.
I don't think scouts are going to be pocketed. Medics will probably just hang on to them to get to where they're trying to go more quickly. Of course, we'll have to see how it plays out, maybe my first impressions of the change are completely wrong. I haven't yet had the chance to even play with the change so I'll defer judgement.
trippawith the speed boost spy can get behind faster and have a more immediate impact on the game
just a quick little note, the speed boost is only going to help if you're undisguised or disguised as medic, scout, or spy (or just cloaked) since otherwise you're still going to get slowed down to a normal speed.
I personally really like the med changes... It makes playing medic far less stressful.
I wouldn't mind it if the speed bonus wasn't as intense (or as fucking buggy holy shit) but I think in general it's a good change. Sue me, but it kind of reminds me of Overwatch - Mercy's wings make playing her feel so much better than playing Medic in TF2. That same concept doesn't work well for TF2, but the general idea of being more agile and able to keep up with heal targets is a good idea.
Basically it allows the medic to put his survivability in his own hands. Especially in lower level comp play, you're only going to survive when your team is keeping you alive by defending you and playing with you - the second they stop focusing on you you're food for the enemy roamer. This change means that I'm not as stressed constantly by teammates that might not be looking out for me anymore. At a higher level of play, it's going to mean that medics can be more aggressive in general, which I also don't think is a bad thing. Medic mains at a high level now have a higher skill ceiling. Who's complaining about that?
I think b4nny summed up the quickiebomb changes pretty well, basically saying "this would make a lot more sense if they removed its ability to destroy stickies".
Also this update objectively fixed framerates by reducing the amount of unholy stuttering that TF2 has had over all these years, which got worse and worse with every update. Especially when its main competition is a very well-optimized game like Overwatch, this is pretty damn important.

that button now opens a dropdown, but that dropdown is opened with an animation from hudanimations_tf. you'll probably want to delete that too.

2946I'm sure things will get better and I had high hopes for this update but this is just disappointing. You can hardly join a game unlike before this update I mean,at least there will be new weapon from the heavy vs pyro? For now I will take a Long break from tf2 until things get better and probably spend most time on csgo so I'm gonna peace out now

note: DO NOT JUST DO AN IN-PLACE UPGRADE. Delete your ENTIRE yayahud folder before installing the new version. Apply any customizations (for example, one of the themes) after that.
SentinelI still have both those options. I noticed that there's a difference between the menus if you click advanced options directly as opposed to going to options>multiplayer>advanced. Check the second one and see if you can find the fov slider and use viewmodels options there

honestly nothing in there is useful. It's just the changes to Valve's main menu. I perused it with GitHub for Windows and every single change either adds MYM branding or tweaks button positions.
EDIT: not entirely correct. if you want to use Valve's new play dropdown in your HUD you'll want to add the "PlaylistContainer" stuff, flathud's diff is small enough to load
