#75 Coaches Needed for Newbie Mix! in TF2 General Discussion

We run these in Australia but not as frequently (called "Icebreaker"). I've participated in quite a few of them and I typically sit in spec, hint at the teams advantages/disadvantages, and ask them how they're going to approach the current situation.

I also try and call what their players are doing for them (since a lot of inexperienced players tend to not say what they are doing), and at the same time remind them that they need to communicate their intentions/what they are doing (without cluttering mumble)

Assuming I'm not doing anything next time this rolls around, I'd like to help out.

DougDiv 2 pocket in South America (team Revamped) scrimming against another Div 2 team (Oxygen): https://dl.dropbox.com/u/62983924/Doug%20badlands.dem

It's a close match, I hope I can learn a lot from your review (:

marezYou would be so sweet if you could also do this game, I played pocket here in a mix because I want to get better at it/yeah I know its not a scrim but there are definitely some mistakes there which I would also do in scrim and you should remind me of them: http://www74.zippyshare.com/v/35601574/file.html

tehmassMedic here. This would be from my stream, I'm seeing if you could get me any feedback ! Thanks

If you have a demo of this it'd be more ideal. The constant volume changing on your stream is kinda disorienting.

#41 thanks guys in TF2 General Discussion

Playground tactics really surprise me with their level of play. I typically just looked down on open teams. I recently reviewed a demo of you guys playing and it was a really good combination of cohesion, teamwork, dm & strategy (redundant but w/e).

With that being said (me going on a tangent before even getting to the point), it's pretty foul play that CB were like "people have to go", and insisted on unpausing. One of the players saying "sorry it came to this" (or something like that) comes off as really condescending and just rubs salt in the wound.

Would definitely like to see something done about this - be it a rematch or something.

In no way am I implying that the disconnects are CB's fault. Their response to the disconnects is more concerning. You could say "oh they were just following rules", but there's this thing called sportsmanship, and I think the most minimal amount possible was shown by them in this game.

I hope the result is just for both parties
