#2 Couple of questions video narration/commentary in Off Topic
RenhetI've never casted or narrated anything, so I have a couple of questions about such things.

Do people generally write scripts for speaking videos? If they don't, how do they keep up a continuous speech without struggling at the uh and um?

Some people naturally have nice-sounding voices for the task. If you don't think that you do, is there anything to be done about it, anything that can be learned or practiced to make the voice more pleasant?

i think if you're passionate about something and it genuinely excites you then you will have no trouble finding words for big plays or intense moments,it isn't like the fake ass people who commentate football games :)

#33 newbie mixes tonight at 8 EST in TF2 General Discussion

i was helping out last night with the admin stuff and organizing so vick could get a break and ufy was negative the entire time and the noobs don't need the negativity in their first time playing competition in any sort of setting, it should be welcoming.

constructive criticism, you jump into players as demo to much but i've only seen that in pugs so i guess you're still ballin.

#15 TF tv community servers? in Off Topic

i used to play counter strike and there was this mod named brush and as the title suggested the objective was to rush b bomb site, maybe if we got someone to make a mod that simulated a few scenarios in the map like pushing holding and mid fights we could have a tf.tv server for it.

also, i have 2 nerd stars now :D

#11 newbie mixes tonight at 8 EST in TF2 General Discussion
VickMhookySaltysally1i played a few tonight, im not going to anymore not to be arrogant or w/e you kids think i am but i wish there was something identical for open players/multiple ugc seasons#tf2mix
#tf2.pug.na, tf2lobby, I'm in 3 private PUG groups for players of this level, and I have my own pug group that is 200 people just from word of mouth.

It's not hard to play pugs if you are open level. It's pretty hard on the other hand if you've been a douche to the tf2 community and estranged almost every player you've been on a team with.

i understand that both of those things exist and i play in a pug group already what i want is a pug group where some im+ players will sit down with us and coach a bit i don't see how people get that mixed up.
