60 to 144 is a really big difference and its definitely worth it. I've only played on 240hz once and it felt extremely smooth. not as noticeable compared to 60 -> 144 but still worth if you have the money. it was at lan though so it may have been a combo of 5 ping/240hz/good pc that made it feel so good to play
