Alliance couldn't win a team fight so they decided to just spread them thin and split push. Then they commited to backdooring the final towers and shrine so navi couldn't leave their base anymore, as it was basically over since alliance can get 3 heroes inside of navi's base at any time. s4 also denied navi from returning to base to defend by interrupting their teleports to base.

Rat dota is typically frowned on, and Alliance is the king of playing dumbshit rat dota if they haven't won the game before 25 minutes.

To clairfy, rat dota is constantly split pushing and avoiding team fights. PvE no confrontation dota is neither fun to watch or play, which is why many people don't like watching chinese dota which involves lots of farming.

Also it's dumb that towers give you so much gold now. The main advantage should really be the map control, not the stupid amount of gold it gives.

navi definitely have a history of playing way to aggressively and giving up leads to relatively cheesy strats like these so im not sure what to say

Why is everybody angry over that? People do this in TF2, as well, it happens everywhere. Competitions are as much brawn as they are brains, kudos to them for outsmarting them.

Anyways, as someone who hates Moba's, that definitely sparked interest in it. Guess I'll have to give it another try.

it's lots of fun seeing the exact same strat and playing a fucking hero where if you fuck up you literally sit in your jungle for 40 minutes and farm for fucking ever until you somehow have a billion gold and destroy everything because your hero can free fucking farm and has global presence

Doesn't really matter if Admiralbullodg was playing a bit gay, he won in a game of dota. That's it really. Dendi was really ripping their assholes apart though. And also that coil won them the game, but it didn't seem like the hardest coil to hit ever. Don't get me wrong, I love s4, but that coil could've been hit by a lot of other puck players.

Yeah, while I wish that they had truly fought it out to end the game, this is usually what I come back to. If it's in the game, and it's effective, there's no reason not to use it. I got the same kind of feeling during the Navi fountain hook game. While they probably wouldn't have won with just about any other line-up, they picked a line-up with the Chen/Pudge combo. You have to do what you can in order to win.

A lot of people don't like it because there's no team fighting. Honestly I don't mind because Navi didn't react properly to the rat dota and ended up getting destroyed for it (also get wisp win game). It's anti-climatic to a lot of players.

It was an amazing series and a stunning last game. Just a shame that there wasn't a big fight or something that decided the game instead of splitpushing.
