for those who're playing the map and then going into lobbies/scrims/whatever

the new map seemingly fucks up shooting animations too sometimes - I don't know if it's for everyone, but for me and a few others that I've asked, hitscan weapons will shoot twice on client-side whenever you shoot. This'll persist once you change map. To fix, just restart your game. I'll make a video eventually to show what I mean

Just found out that tf_healthicon_height_offset is a command.

tf_healthicon_height_offset -30 is a nice example, the number doesn't leave the screen and sits basically on the teammate if you're right next to them.

Example: -30

It's not perfect but it's better. At least you can see teammates health from up close, rather than it just leaving the screen entirely. I sent Valve an email with my complaint mostly being the lack of visual on health when next to a player, and the constant %health% problem.

we were testing this in mge, you dont have to even be aiming near them at all
he has a follow up video going up in a bit with a few things he didnt cover in the first (RIP highlander, btw)

There is a fair margin for you fucking up and it still working, you only really need to be close to the center and tracking the hp is close enough for it to keep working. D=

So Spy gets wall hacks, but is also easier to detect. Perfectly balanced again.

Does anyone have proof of stickies doing 138 damage before this update? My team doesn't believe that they did that much damage before this update. As in they think valve buffed stickies.
