Thank you platinum. You probably don't remember as it must have been something like three years ago, but I remember.

You played me in mge and spent a few minutes suggesting ways to practice and improve. At that point I barely even knew of the existence of competitive tf2, I just knew I wanted to be as good as you were. From there I really found a passion in competitive gaming that has become quite an important part of my life.

Like I said, it probably meant nothing to you, but it has meant more than I can say to me. Thanks again.

They usually never announce anything TF2-specific in their season announcements - here's S17's announcement for reference. The prize money for TF2 is included in that $100k figure.

They'll announce specific prize pots later, usually mid-season.

It's been a pleasure watching you guys compete. It's not very common you see a core group of guys stick together long-term when they're not absolutely destroying the competition every season. You guys had something special, and as somebody that looks and sees the entire esports space in a way that others don't, the core of mix^ is pretty fuckin special.
