another garm3n Q-F edit (medic-centric but works pretty much fine for other classes)
crosshair: seeker's + konrwings + basic outlined dot
edits: smaller font size of health/ammo, plus moved closer to crosshair. moved targetIDs up a little (mostly maintargetID, secondaryID is pretty much same if a little higher), removed ubercharge meter/ main label and left a small label under xhair (flashes crazily when charged). repositioned lastdamagedone to above health, made this + damage numbers smaller and bigger/green ammo count under healtarget

Sort of an off-topic question, but how often do you guys change huds? Seems like people dl customized huds all the time here and I am curious if you guys are constantly changing huds or adjusting stuff on yours. I change huds probably once every six months. Just curious if that's average.

I think people posting in this thread are changing their HUDs pretty often. For instance, I recently gave Broesel another chance and was amazed by the information you get in your peripheral view if that´s a thing. Even if you´re not directly looking at his font, you are always aware of your stats.

Since you seem to know quite a bit about custom .vtfs and VTFEdit, I was wondering if you could tell me how I could take a simple equilateral triangle png with a transparent background and make sure that the edges don't pixelate when it gets turned into a vtf. I tried using vectors but VTFEdit doesn't accept those and I have no idea which flags should be checked for that type of thing.

It depends on how he set it up but what I did is to go to statsummary.res, ctrl+f for statpanel and changed the zpos to 999.

This article and this thread are quite helpful. Here's some more info as well. Changing the import settings were the key for me personally (detailed in the article, playing around with the flags mentioned in the facepunch thread helped as well).

i added slin's medic hud thing, the 3D class indicator, the control points looking fancy, omp's main menu, scoreboard and specator hud, and yahud's items thingy. :)))
