Someone's really mature
I have installed an extension to keep track of the top contributors, hope this gives you some motivation to keep contributing.
Keep in mind this will help decide our winner of the contest of the member of the month of august, it won't be only this but your volume of contributions will matter, as well as quality of course.
http://comp.tf/wiki/Special:ContributionScores
Also we have add a traffic spike since the cup and the contests were announced, doing just what we wanted which is to further promote the wiki.

Atlas was promoted to admin of the wiki.
He has helped me a lot really with the technical side of it, 90% of the templates you see used across the wiki are all his work. He deserves it a lot. He was already a mod, but now with more freedom to do things on his own we can improve even more.
Here's the latest template he's been working on, showing map locations for map pages. It looks pretty neat http://comp.tf/wiki/User:Atlas/Template:Map_locations

With this wiki we aim not only to have a basic compendium for class and map basics but much more importantly, keep an history of the tf2 competitive scene, much like liquipedia does for starcraft 2. We have already created a few team, player and league pages but it's still the content we are missing the most.
Atlas did a great job and created pages for the last 4 ETF2L seasons, complete with playoff match results, vod links and etc...

We are still missing a lot of season history, team pages and the likes, so if you want to help out head to our wiki and dont forget to use the appropriate templates for pages.

Atlas with another big update... This time you can see it on the mainpage,a table featuring events in the tf2 scene and a featured article. Mainpage is becoming really as I dreamed it to be
Sorry to double post here, but would like to inform the contest prizepools were revised thanks to some item donations.
If our steam group reaches 2000 members we will be raffling away 1 Unusual hat to a random member of it.
So make sure to join and invite all your friends! :)
You can view the unusual for this contest in its full glory here

We are giving away another unusual hat even rarer and with a new effect to the most valuable member of our wiki until September 15th, the winner will be announced after the last cup final is disputed. A little incentive to get some more content on our wiki. The prize winner will be decided at our staff team discretion
You can view the unusual for this contest in its full glory here
Amazing thanks to joshi who donated these 2 unusual hats! I am still accepting donations both for the cup and contests prizepool, server / items, whatever donations are welcome :)

I'm really happy of what we accomplished so far, with the help from all of you <3

However, we are still missing a lot of content, particularly team/player pages and past season pages, if you want to help out make sure to head to our wiki and read the editing guidelines first (http://comp.tf/wiki/Help:Contents), it will give you a quick brief of what you need to know.
Thanks for everything and keep helping us become a staple in our scene! I have already started to see some incoming traffic from google from important keywords such as strategy for specific maps or even beginner 6v6 tf2. But to attract even more people and allow them to learn we need to have even more and better contentm that's where you all come in!
Also, the main-page is looking sexy, atlas is a beast <3

Recently got analytics to work, stats are in after a few days, not bad but it could be better, we definitly could use more support!

Also we (mainly Atlas the man is a beast) have been working hard to get a decent history of past competitive seasons, but we still have a lot to be done. Here you can check some of the already created seasons.

All complete with playoff results and match results and vods linked, much love to Atlas <3
But we are still missing a lot, particularly the first seasons of ESEA and ETF2L and Past seasons of other leagues such as UGC, OZfortress and the likes. So feel free to head out there and help us :) Remember to use other similar complete pages as a base. Any question you have feel free to do it or talk to me or atlas in the wiki/steam.
We are also still missing a lot of map locations, which you can see the template in action here http://comp.tf/wiki/Template:Map_locations, so feel free to edit the current map pages with map location names, etc...
Also missing are some map pages, particularly HL maps, the map pages not yet created can be seen as red links in this page, http://comp.tf/wiki/Maplist so feel free to help us out!

I don't want to win this but I really love the idea of competitive tf2 wiki like team liquid has. I had a ton of fun making the vector and pcgn pugs page and I hope more people make team pages. Not to mention learning wiki markup was interesting.

Exciting updates
There have been a lot of meaningful contributions the last few days, Sero started translating the main pages into russian and zoob, merchant, canfo among others that created and updated lots of pages for leagues past seasons
We now have pretty much en entire history of ETF2L competitions on our wiki (missing seasons 9,10,11 and community HL challenge), thats almost 20 seasons worth of competitive, all complete with placement, rules, map pools, prizes , etc... Some are missing match or map results but you can alwaYs update them!

etc...
Also zoob has worked the last few days on creating a lot of past lan events pages, so now we not only have i46 full complete page, as well as the future i49 but we have a lot more (past insomnias, even assembly lans, etc) as you can see below
http://comp.tf/wiki/Category:LAN_events
We are still missing a lot of past seasons now particularly from the NA scene, AUS scene and UGC/wireplay, so feel free to contribute, as always make sure to read the editing guidelines before starting editing, it gives you a brief summary of what you need to know even if you have never dealt with wiki markup and formatting.
By revisiting these pages I am learning a lot as well about competitive tf2 history, that was always one of my biggest objectives and I feel we are doing it very well! Excellent job everyone, I am really proud of what we are accomplishing here. And with the newbie cup ahead, exciting times are to come for our wiki I bet!
Speaking of the newbie cup (http://comp.tf/wiki/Comp.tf_Newbie-Only_6v6_Cup), less than 1 month to go now and we already have 40 teams signed up, 20 teams for each cup to be exact, that's a lot of teams and players involved, and of course not everyone is guaranteed to be accepted due to our player restrictions but it's still very promising with 1 month left.
We have also added a player recruitment and a LFT section in our cup page, so feel free to head there (link above) if you want to play in our cup and have no team or are still missing players in your team.

Sorry for the double post. But a appropriate bump as i49 is just around the corner
If you want to help out updating i49 page on the comp.tf wiki feel free.
Would be awesome to have it updated in real time. Zoob has done most of the work on the page as is, so it's ready just to input teams, results in brackets, etc etc.

Yeah, once you figure out how the multiplay site works it is ok but good it is a piece of crap.
The i49 page is now the second most viewed page at 6000+ 7000+ views. I think that this will really launch comp.tf having so many people's first impression being such a good page. Congrats KaneCo! Prepare for a massive hosting bill! :D
