Personally I don’t Want to play against Clockwork’s Sniper This Season

easily one of the best scouts of all time, by week 2 the rust will be gone and he'll be a mid-high invite scout again. It's not like he's coming out of a coma he's been playing fps games and the occasional pug since he quit. Leaving him unrestricted would be short sighted af, especially since he would be welcome in invite if he wanted to play it

I mean you could literally have an Invite team move down to Main and play in Main without restrictions. You'd have the ESEA issue again.

Okay full teams that are in invite should not be allowed to play in open or main.. but if a person that is able to play invite should be able to play in advanced lol

People on the lower end of Invite usually can without restriction. But top Invite teams can't otherwise a consistently #4 Invite team would make more sandbagging in Advanced for the #1 prize pool and just ruin the division for the rest.

I had to double check this because I could've sworn that the entry fee for Advanced was lower and the Participation Prize was lower. Then I guess disregard my point, there literally is no reason why an Invite player would bother sandbagging in Advanced, so Phobia is right.

For this season of the Power Rankings, I'll be trying a different format, somewhat inspired by the current Main rankings.

Rather than bloating the TF.TV thread with long-ass text posts, I'll be keeping the information in a public spreadsheet with occasional TF.TV posts when there are major updates. To view the commentary on each team, hover over the team's name to view the comment. If reading it is tough on the eyes, there's also a Google Doc link at the bottom of the spreadsheet for easier viewing.

Also, as commenting on each team has become repetitive over the last few seasons, instead I'll be making more frequent weekly updates, but only commenting on the noteworthy developments rather than commenting on every team as I've done for the past few seasons.
