My keyboard was dirty (wife was looking up a recipe on my gaming rig)
After wiping off my keyboard while TF2 was running, the brightness/contrast started to change dynamically. I am not sure what I did, but I can't find anything that would be related. I checked my video/display settings and ensured I didn't have dynamic contrast enabled. I don't even have the option.
This an an example: VIDEO HERE of what I'm seeing.
- I am running Windows Home 10.
- I have an NVIDIA 1650.
- I'm running the latest drivers (Ver. 30.0.15.1215).
- My monitor is a Dell 32" curved monitor (S3220DGF).
Any ideas as to what I can do to reverse/fix this issue? I should mention I don't have an "adaptive brightness" checkbox/setting in windows.
Thank you!

Are you using a config like mastercomfig? If so you could try a different module preset for lighting and see what happens.
https://docs.mastercomfig.com/latest/customization/modules/?h=ligh#lighting
If not, look at config.cfg in the cfg folder and check if any of those keybindings could possibly affect the lighting. If it's really related to your keyboard I'd assume you've hit a keybind by accident while cleaning that does something unexpected. My guess is it would be one of these:

sounds like theres a chance you accidentally turned on the "black equalizer" option on your monitor (or whatever dell calls its equivalent), check your monitor settings
edit: didn't see the video, definitely not that

Nothing in monitor settings.
I don't use a "master config".
I'll triple check everything thought. THanks.

Monitor (hardware) settings won't show up/affect recordings.
A 5s Google search gave me this, maybe worth a shot:
Add this to advanced launch options (and remove afterwards):
+mat_dxlevel 90 +mat_hdr_level 2 +mat_hdr_enable +mat_fullbright 0
If this doesn't help, doing these steps should:

The start up options didn't work. Trying the other now.

I found the issue. I had to do with my RAZER device (LED mousepad??). I installed the "Razer Synapse' software suite and in there, there were some settings. I uninstalled it and *poof*, everything went back to normal.
I wanted to provide an update so that in case anyone else had the same issue, they could try disabling/un-installing.
