Before you all vote out gpit, think about this for a moment: Is there any map that you could play RIGHT NOW to replace it with that wouldn't be complete garbage?

Ediface
Voted for Gullywash, just like every past season I've played
Fuck Gullywash.
Fuck Gullywash.
The spectator argument is horrible. Lots of people watch CoD, that doesn't mean we should vote in some awful map that tries to play like CoD. The only factor that should be taken into account is play-ability. Gpit is a pretty garbage tier map but it seems like the only thing that would replace it is edifice which zero high level teams have scrimmed on apparently so voting that in prematurely could be even worse than another season of gpit.

THIS. Spectators should not be the primary argument, but it should be considered.
Gpit has its problems, but it is better to live through another season while more people play/scrim/whatever ediface.

Unless if someone can edit old maps and make them better and faster I see no need of voting a map out since ediface is still in the works.
vote out gpit, it's antiquated as fuck and the fact that gpit results can be readily discarded while predicting the result of literally any other map in the rotation combined with being readily identifiable as an "upset map" are probably signs that it isn't actually good despite being arguably fun to watch.
worst case scenario we just vote gpit back in if the other options are trash.

Why vote out anything this season? Gravelpit will eventually be retired but I don't think there are any worthy replacements. Besides, metalworks is still a newish map...let us work on 1 map at a time =)))
i forgot to mention i would be 90% okay with granary being gone
Don't vote out GPIT until we get a better A/D map ready for ESEA.
Having 7/8 5CP maps isn't too exiting to me, at least.

Also another thing to add for the people that hate viaduct I would say move it later into the season compared to s13.
That way they will be more balanced and not rolls.

I have seen NO feedback on Edifice outside of pugs. The same thing happened with Ashville.
I'd vote for no change but I'm not paying for premium this early.

I think another season of gravelpit while fine-tuning edifice is the best option. We don't want another cp_ashville to happen.
Add edifice when it's ready, but also keep gpit in. That will be fun to watch :>

I'm starting to think this would be the best option too. If we put Edifice in and it still has bugs that haven't been picked out yet, people might start hating on it and not ever want to play it again after the season.
If it doesn't make it in S14, I'd like to be assured that people will actually test it in order to prepare it for S15. There have been next to no tests on it and don't start thinking that the UGC summer season will help it get better for 6s. I, for one, would like to see this gamemode used more in 6s and tested a bit more.
tl;dr: rotation is okay for now (possibly swap a few 5CPs if it comes to that), just don't vote out GPit for Edifice this season unless it gets a lot of testing beforehand.

I take it you weren't big in watching March Madness?
Just because a map seemingly gives "lower" teams a chance to upset better teams doesn't mean it is fundamentally flawed. There are a lot of "good" arguments against Gpit, but this is not one of them.

Would it be possible to schedule a showmatch scrim on edifice?

Basketball is played on one map.
When a map is objectively more conducive to upsets by virtue of its design then it is necessarily more random than any other map in the rotation.

Am I alone in not liking to even spectate gravelpit?
There aren't any good maps worth putting in don't vote out gpit.
why do they make the map poll after lan in the off season when everyone's premium has ran out.

It's too late, the 2nd part will be coming tomorrow.
Hopefully Edifice isn't too bad, and is more like Process or Metalworks in that it just needs a few changes.
