Hey!
As a part of our fundraising goals, Australia's Team Immunity promised to release a number of in-depth video guides with the intention of sharing our opinions with respect to how a particular map could be played, and the roles of the fundamental classes. These videos are being created with the generous help of Chaplain, and will hopefully serve to be a valuable resource for both new players, and those who are looking to improve.
These videos are made up entirely of our own opinions, which should be applied to the strengths of your own team, rather than taken as an absolute authority.
I'll be updating this post as new videos come out, and please don't hesitate to leave questions in either this thread, or the video's comments - we'll try to answer as many as we can in the next video.

Just want to point out that at the 5:20 mark, you guys talked about how you can't get out of the windows. I know that the video probably was done before the latest update, but it would be nice if you could put some annotations or something so that newer players don't get confused?
Amazing work though, haven't finished watching the entire video, but it's been pretty awesome and I've learnt quite a bit from it!

Once we've finished the other badlands one we're intending to create a badlands "hub" video - with links to the different sections/issues raised within the video to help with navigation.

It would be really nice if you could show some in-game examples of what you are talking about.
Talking about attacking spire? Show a quick clip of you pushing the spire which illustrates the points that you just made.

@ Beater - the plan is to include a full demo (with analysis) of each map after we do the attacking/defending segments. What you described was our original intention, but as the video is already 50 minutes long, including a clip for each of the examples would probably lengthen the video exorbitantly.
We toyed with the idea of splitting up the videos into even smaller segments so we could do this - but figured that it would be more worthwhile if people were able to watch the video through from start -> finish if they so desired. Including a full analysed demo (possibly with our comms?) seemed like it would be more worth it in the end as its easier to display the progression of attacking/defending and how the situations tend to merge together/flow into one another in a game situation.

You should do what Marxist did with the description of his guide videos and add what you're talking about at what times in the description. This works best if you break it up by class and part of the map you're talking about. (Eg. 10:25-Pushing spire as Scout)

This isn't meant to be a 'class guide' as we have said. The map videos that we are making are general teamplay. This video would have been huge if we went into depth about what each specific class does.
Stuff like this will probably be covered in the class videos.
