Why is this such a big deal? There are many reasons for playing on an alt, not just because you take mge too seriously (which is in itself a pretty weak insult in any competitive community). Pointing fingers like this involves making huge assumptions.

Why not just feel smug inside rather than conducting a witch-hunt to assert some apparent moral high ground?

Can we stop defending the usage of alts (there is none) and return to focusing on phrakture having a VAC ban on record in the last two months.

I really don't understand why it's the worst thing ever to play on an alt, I'd love for you to tell me why it's an absolute awful thing to warm-up on one sometimes or play with a weird different cfg/hud etc, which is about the extent of what I do. I can't speak for other people who play with aliases but I'm not going on an alt to talk garbage to people and treat other people like shit which I'm sure some other people do, but really if you're just practicing I don't really understand what the big deal is.

If anything I get shit talked infinitely more, and often if I beat someone ill get shit talked etc then they'll leave and say im a faggot pussy on an alt, and those are the actual people that care way to much as opposed to when I play someone and I might win but despite me being on an alt they'll keep playing me because it's close and we're both improving, and they're not playing with their ego but to improve which is why I play on an alt, to avoid dealing with people playing me to win 24/7. I really didn't want to post but I just don't see how playing on an alt is such an awful thing if you're literally just practicing, sorry.

Alts are so you don't have the same 5 people chasing you onto every map asking questions or for tips, so you can just practice and get better. Or for ego in case you lose. Alts have been around since forever who really cares just play the damn game.

I'm assuming the guy just matched ips together and posted whatever he found here(at least my theory on why he has people like v3kz who doesn't even play this game anymore). But yeah, although proof or an explanation would be great, it still doesn't really cause anyone harm until we find out what he even did or in what setting(pub, comp, etc.).

I would never condone cheating on an alt but doing so does not mean you cheat on your main account. If he did, you would think his main would have gotten VAC'd too. It's pretty lame and I hate cheaters even in pubs, but to ban him from esea?

I have alts I use to get more items after the item drop limit caps for my main account each week. Valve broke idling so I've had to invest real playtime into my idle accounts. I think the best part about it though is noone bothering me on steam.
