I'm so confused

first horror removed cyghfer's sub emotes that were pretty much beloved, especially cygAfroK, the reason is pretty dumb/bullshit

then i think he made the fursona of his boyfriend a global twitch emote and now everybody's pissed at him

duke bilgewater makes a joke about it and proceeds to get banned from twitch

peaches__ makes his stream title "using my keyboard to REMOVE HORROR"

a twitch admin comes in his chat and tells him to change it or be banned from twitch, and he doesn't change it

twitch admin changes it

peaches changes it to something else, makes comment in 1st post

speedrunning community is really pissed. shitstorm's a brewin', check your twitter feeds

this is still really confusing tbh

you can really boil it down to "horror is a shitty mod"

people are also getting ip banned for spamming REMOVE HORROR in twitch chats

I think that a different gaming community has drama which now includes a twitch mod/admin? Someone named Horror, anyway. And twitch admins are involved.

So Saber here thinks we should care since we also use twitch and it's major drama in another community. But we're all busy circle jerking over either b4nny and lauren or the ESEA settlement so it comes off as confusing because why do we need some other community's drama?

how low are we willing to stoop for entertainment?

Man, I would love John's unedited opinion on this little shit show. Doubt we'll hear anything though.

Horror has been a questionable admin for a long time, throwing out the bans has just been enough to get people really riled. Making your boyfriend's fursona an emote is bad enough, but prompting a change in twitch TOS just to cover your questionable bans is much worse.

Horror has stated in the past he hates the speed running community, and is possibly the worst admin to have in charge of emotes.

the funniest thing that's come out of this is when werster's chat and his skype call (including trihex who went on a sort of detailed rant about other shit he's seen) found out the origin of NightLight

One of the perks of Subscribing to a Channel on Twitch is the emotes you can use in chat. Horror, a Twitch admin and overseer of all emote applications has been screwing speedrunners around in regard their emotes, like deleting or removing emotes AFTER he approved them, making more and more restrictions on emote size/etc. These emotes are literally a source of income for runners like Werster, who easily earns 250 dollars a month from subscriptions alone. AND THEN he made his furry boyfriend a global emote that can be used in ANY chat on Twitch, because he wanted to.

Duke Bilgewater, a speedrunner and marathon organiser got IP banned for a comment in chat about Horror, and Peaches_, another speedrunner got his stream title editted by an admin to remove mention of Horror.
