mthsadPlatypus+1 for mpd + ncmpcpp although foobar2000 does run very nicely in wine. I use an old ipod shuffle to play music since I have a dumbphone, still looking for a good android to buy.

Can confirm. I've got a Galaxy Nexus running Vanir ROM. Cyanogen also works perfectly.

Before I used youtube mostly, and songza (which is great to discover new stuff btw)
But since a few months I have changed to spotify and atm I have been using Spotify Premium for 6+ Months, it's great, discover a lot of stuff, shame it doesn't have every artist or albuns, but for stuff a little harder to find I use youtube.
