I got into Saint Andrews (in Scotland) and Willamette (in Oregon), haven't heard back from anywhere else yet. Might go to Saint Andrews, love haggis.

I just got into NC State University!!!! It's my #1 choice so I'm kinda excited!

Pretty disappointed but it's what I anticipated.

Gonna start working on Yale/MIT/UPenn/Maybe Princeton next along with others.
Worst part about getting deferred (besides the ~3% accept rate of deferred students) is that I now have to write about 20 more essays...
Oh well.

Applied to a bunch of small private liberal arts schools in the midwest and pacific northwest.

A few (4-5) of my friends got accepted early to Harvard like yesterday or something so that was pretty sick lol.

Got an unconditional from Heriot Watt. Waiting for other offers.

Good luck with your application! They should be done construction on a slew of new buildings for everyone by the fall of 2014.

I thought I was done with applications after I got into grad school. But now I'm applying for grants and fellowships. They're slightly better because you don't have to pay an application fee. But you do have to explain how your research is going to change the world, which is a lot of pressure.

Got into econ for UCSB, too bad transfer applications aren't due for at least two or months for privates. And honestly don't worry about what college you get into, because as cliche as it sounds, its what you do that will count. I personally had a friend who went to a barely top 50 school and still got a position at Goldman Sachs along with other elite finance firms where the acceptance rate is much lower than Harvard(2% vs 6%) and had to beat multiple 4.0 Ivy students during the interview process. But nonetheless, congrats to everyone on getting in.
