Also, I feel like a polar bear is more likely to run off if things start getting bad. A gorilla has to deal with all sorts of jungle bullshit that the polar bear doesn't have.

What do you expect to happen when for some reason B is trying to kill A?

A big adult male polar bear can kill a 2 ton walrus and believe it or not, you're way more likely to get your eyes stabbed out or being killed by 3 feet long tusks than by opposable thumbs.

It's been said before and I'll say it again. The polar bear is in another class. It's the largest land-dwelling predator on earth. I think it would be the opposite really, there's not really any predator like the polar bear in the jungle that a gorilla would deal with. And the polar bear is more of a predator and wouldn't know anything other than fighting, I think a Gorilla would feel out of it's depth and bail
