It is sad actually. Gonna miss him and his stream. Probably the most entertaining streamer on tf.tv.

tf2 is has never and will never be taken serious, especially with all the nosy stream viewers who love to stir up drama

I liked ruwin and I've always thought there are two sides to every story. Not this one. This reaction is disappointing. Completely missed the point while making a tirade fit for an overly defensive preteen. Good riddance lol

I think you underestimate other games amount of inter-drama. It's pretty much human nature.

Even if it was a mistake (it was), stop acting like it defines Ruwin entire streaming history. There was a reason he was the top streamer for a while even though everyone wants to act like Ruwin suddenly lost any positive attributes whatsoever or never had them to begin with. Silly.

That's a shame, he had a decent viewership.

Whether people like him or not, he generally had a solid number of people watching tf2 get played. In the end, what he did was hopefully beneficial for the community, and hopefully it got some more players interested in the comp side of things.

ruwin asks, "what should he do differently?" I don't know...maybe wait a couple days and cool down, think things over, and let the dust settle before turning on your stream. angry reactions might be entertaining reactions but turning on your stream and asking people to take shots at you doesn't seem like the best way to handle this situation. then again, it's his stream he can do whatever he wants.

sven seems like a nice guy, good player, great streamer. sucks to see him upset but ultimately it's just drama that people will forget about in a week. keep streaming, keep doing your thing man. sven, if you're out there and listening -- if you truly care about the game and playing it, you won't let this minor setback prevent you from playing TF2 or streaming. stop focusing on the negatives and look at the positives. who cares what people think about you; keep streaming for the people who do enjoy what you do.

honestly i didnt mind his stream or him as a person, but he acted like a fucking asshole for no reason. like he knew how many people were watching him stream and publicly made fun of someone he used to be intimate with. like yeah he had hands down the highest viewership of any single streamer, but there's backlash when you do some dumb shit on a fucking stream. think about if that girl saw what he did she'd be devastated

This is the real ruwin I see behind his stream persona brought to life. Real actual human, entertaining, keep it up. Don't go back to the dorito man

Ruwin is a really, really nice guy. I feel I know him well, and he has always been exceedingly kind, encouraging, and helpful. He doesn't need me sticking up for him, but as a friend and as a streamer who's been through similar controversy, I feel compelled to step in.

Before you start judging him, just realize that you're doing so based off a glimpse. I think that's silly and gratuitous. You're attacking and defining someone for one minor fuck up; I believe in being much more skeptical and forgiving than that.

Jump on this bandwagon if you want, but just know you're losing a bit of your dignity.

it's not the fuckup that's keeping the attention, it's his kneejerk reaction to it, which he should be keeping on a leash. i like ruwin, but he should take a calmer approach and just apologize.

No Streamer in tf2 (or even other games for that matter) had as much viewer interaction and appreciation as ruwin's stream. And even with such popularity, ruwin has never explicitly or implicitly asked for donation or subscription in anyway - always sincerely thanking each and everyone of his subscriber and viewer for watching.

I am not going to justify what sven did regarding the photo and insult on a girl as not-a-big-deal, but i believe a lot of people are really exaggerating the issue and using it (in addition to the 4G cut) as an excuse to bash the rest of his content and viewers without reasons.

He has always made his stream about learning the various tips and tricks of tf2 in a entertaining but informative method from day 1, and i believe for the most part thats exactly what he did until the day he stopped streaming. Sure the various memes of "bubkis and yolo" are of a slight overuse , but it no doubt made his stream unique and thus gain the popularity it had without sacrificing quality of content.

With the comp tf2 scene being so small in comparison to other competitive games, losing one of our most popular, entertaining and dedicated streamer from such biassed and exaggerated hate is a detriment to our community in my opinion.

dude doesn't have the social maturity to give a small apology, eat a little crow and let all this blow over like the insignificant event it is. the kind of shit grownups have to do all the time. instead, the plan is to dig the heels in, insult and belittle people who make legitimate points, and generally turn this all into a big self-aggrandizing, self-pitying martyrfest. poor persecuted ruwin up on the cross.

the only people who are losing dignity here are the ones who pretend like it's reasonable for people out of high school to act like this.
