Two of the goals were pretty save-able, and the other was based off a bs penalty call. So wasn't the greatest display from Brazil, and the 3-1 score isn't a great indication of how Brazil played.
second half was really disappointing after the first. horrible dive and penalty call, as well as the foul call on olic with julio cesar. croatia deserved better :/
The penatly was so fucking unfair, anyway the very last goal was a good one
That was Croatia,imagine Spain,Argentina,Uruguay
Brasil is fucked
Brasil is fucked
MVP for todays game...
The horrible penalty call ruined the entire match. What a joke of a referee.
Honestly, at what point can we just think it's straight up corruption? How much was he paid to do it? Did you guys see how excited he was when he gave the penalty? I'm so flustered right now.. fucking fuck

A little late, but calling it right now, Brazil already bought 1st place! Watched the 1st evidence today.
Go Mexico!!!

powerAyRbut brazil is looking so strong (and its in brazil!) that i reckon they'll take it
brazil died after 2002
lol Brazil has been dead since 1970, since Pele left. sure they have had some championships but that is more because of lack of competition

You're just plain wrong. The time that Pele played, soccer was a totally different game, and in the 1994 cup Romario carried on his back Brasil until the final when Baggio missed the penalty,so your lack of competition argument is totally wrong, Italy gave Brasil a hell of a hard time. Same happened in 2002 where Ronaldo shined and carried the team(of course with help from Rivaldo,Ronaldinho and others)

I'm hoping for England and Japan to go far, doubt either will win though sadly.

I wouldnt be surprised. After all, Qatar did bribe to win the 2022 bid. FIFA is corrupt af

showstopperCavani and Suarez can only carry Uruguay so much, Ggglygy.
you know Godin, Muslera, Pereria, Gimenez, Caceres, Rodrigue and Cavani all played champions league football this year Uruguay have a very strong team. Not to forget Luis Suarez, Ramirez, and Rios

Don't count out the Germans guys. I have them predicted to win the cup, they play as a unit and don't let their big egos get in the way of winning the cup like the south american teams.
As far as that penalty kick call is concerned that is 100% the correct call. The defender literally grabbed the guy from behind and pulled him to the ground, you cannot use your hands like that in soccer, no corruption in that call what so ever.

referees choking in the big games, if only there was some sort of technology where you can replay an incident on a square box and then make a decision based off that as well.

I remember watching on tv a discussion about this, some said it would take the dynamic of the game and make the game slow, and also couting that this type of technology would be pretty expensive but i agree that would be useful, making the game cleaner.

The penalty didn't happen, the defender's left hand on his shoulder wasn't enough to pull him to the ground. Fred lost balance and realised he couldn't reach the ball so he dropped. The referee positioning didn't help him aswell. Oscar goal was legal though, Ramires touched the ball before falling with the croatian player.
Oscar was the man of the match, not Neymar.
The home team not going to playoffs is bad for Fifa, everybody knows that but saying Brazil already won the world cup because the referees are going to help is just bullshit. Brazil/Germany vs Argentina on Grand Finals.

one really cool thing about this WC is that (most days) there is only one match on at a time, so you don't have to decide which one to watch.
also that was a really weak penalty call, but the brbr's were the better team overall which people saying "hurr corruption hurr refball!!!" ignore.
