lange is gr8, but cbear needs to cast more

i think the awkward forced jokes are getting a bit old in my opinion.

lange and getawhale is a refreshing change.

'awkard forced jokes' this is the part that makes zero sense. please provide some examples of what you're babbling about, cbear is one of the best casters by a long shot. getawhale is no where near as experienced and it shows. but i guess thats better for you since you're an open trashcan that needs simple minded commentary to even grasp whats going on in the game

Yeah, as much as I like getawhale and his casting, comparing him to cbear is kinda crazy. Cbear has been around for a really long time, and his experience shows. Getawhale is one of the better caters currently, but thinking he's better than cbear is silly lol

This just about nails it. Broadcasting is my training and my day job, but guys like cbear have a few YEARS' worth of a headstart on me in the whole TF2 casting thing. I work hard to improve and hope to get there eventually.

Getawhale and Lange to cast together at i52?

God I wish. It was my plan for 3-4 months to go to i52 until I found out about GXL. I can't do both, unfortunately. Maybe next year.

I like casting with Getawhale, but he always makes fun of the way I talk :(

Lange, Getawhale, and quite a handful of others are very talented at casting, but cbear will forever be the casting voice of TF2. That man is so goddamn good.

Tagg is also, essentially, an amazing caster who should cast more.

I recommend watching Lange + Seanbud casts. Rare, but always a treat.

I always preferred the cbear + bloodsire combo, definitely felt like they had really strong chemistry.

Getawhale is my new favourite caster, the man is born to commentate.

Though people like DJC and Cbear who sadly no longer cast (or rarely do) will remain the best we've ever had in the scene, you need good casters to come up and replace them and Getawhale is one of the main ones.

Pfft, I carry cbear. Guy doesn't even know how to say gullywash. Also, "my little nemo." Case closed.

As someone who started getting into TF2 during the S10 and S11 LANs, the caster lineup of cbear, djc, Bloodsire, and Sigma cannot be matched.

djc, cbear and admirable are on a whole other level. getawhale is pretty good but i've always felt like the lack of proper analysis in his casting makes for a rather dull experience

Oh by the way, this might have been the cast you're thinking of. This one is the genesis of the #HotLange trend. Lange calls the teams hot at the start and it just sort of went from there.

Actually the one i was thinking off was on viaduct, mixup vs something. And platinum ran ScoRes hehe. It was also really late and at the end of a marathon casting session. Could have been finals maybe?

Lange casts are incredibly entertaining. He has good chemistry with anyone, and you can tell how invested in the match he is.

Getawhale is right up there with the great casters for me. Admirable, Cbear, Bloodsire, Getawhale, Lange (and surely lots of oldschoolers, but I'm a newb). Keep it up Whale :)
