Apparently we cannot rent 120hz monitors at i52 and this was confirmed 15 minutes ago. If anyone has a second 120hz monitor, I would be happy to work out a deal to rent the monitor from you for use throughout the i52 event. If multiple people have spares, the rest of my team would likely do the same. Please post here and/or PM me if you are interested in helping out.
thanks all!

Uhm I don't wanna be that guy but that's been common knowledge for about 7 months. You can rent 120hz monitors in the elite mega PC pack but it's pretty damn expensive.

Would bubble wrapping the life out of your monitor still protect it from luggage transitions?

Yes, stick it in some tight fitting cardboard and then into the bubblewrap, and you're solid

If you have the original box it came in, along with all the packing material, that keeps it really safe, but it is often impractically large to transport. Good luck finding something, because transporting it can be a huge worrying hassle.

We just traveled with ours in checked luggage, most flights have like 30kg these days and if u wrap it up well it should be ok :)

With a little cash you can just buy from amazon, and return, right? They charge no fee.

squidi don't think there are any rentals left, so if anyone would be interested in lending me one for the event, i could pay $100

edit: if somebody wants a cheap monitor, buy it from the forum post guy, let squid borrow it, you're only paying shipping and getting a 120hz for a good price once squid is done using it.

Somehow I doubt that monitor is going to make it to i52 in time for that scheme to be viable.
