Usually I MGE/jump to warm up and occasionally I hop in a DM server.

DM servers, or 32 man insta spawn servers...i personally find it easier to help warmup aim when i constantly have targets. MGE is good if you can play against people as good or better than you over and over...it makes you think more outside the box if you get beat, and what you can try to adapt to others play-styles.

I main Medic, so there is not much you can do outside of 6v6 match situations. I mostly play on tf2pickup or mix/scrim. Sometimes I hop onto tr_arena_rc2 and just let a soldier bot shoot at me to practice rocket-surfing
I also kind of enjoy playing MGE and sometimes DM as well as jump maps since I play quite a bit of soldier

i used to dm at least 30min a day for about 2 years. i just don't have as much fun in dm anymore unless im streaming or going hard with someone else while in mumble
nowadays i just like playing on the teek or doing like 300-400 rounds of mge with my homies randomly(shoutouts to newspeak and gls). newbots on occasion as well

Demo reviews
I find demo reviews infinitely important to building your gamesense. Take a look at your stats, see where you're underpreforming. Look at your mistakes in your demos.
Get a mentor. Learning things from people who are better than you is a great way of building gamesense as well.
Watch casts/Casting
Watching the top teams play is great too: learn their antics and how they play off each other.
My "practicing" is mostly focused on building intelligence. Learning how to shoot the ground will come in time as you play more and more scrims.

We're blessed in Australia in that almost everyone in tf2centre is competent and enjoyable to play with so I do that whenever I can

TheFragilea lot of people still need to work on a lot of medic skills, which can be accomplished through pugs. Indust pugs as medic religiously

Pub or surf just to warm up my fingers, then scrim/map reviews/demo reviews/mixes. Though I haven't pubbed or mixed in a long time.

I watch meatshot vol 2
edit: shrugger brought up a really cool way to practice, if it existed. What if you could load up a pov demo and "take over" from a certain tick, so you just play a certain fight out over and over and see if you can hit all your shots or how you can play it differently. I think that'd be really cool but idk if it's possible with the source engine
