hi i'm paid
My previously travel plans have fallen through. if anyone is driving through the Midwest area (Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin), I may be able to get a ride and meet up. If you have room in your car, message me on steam pls.
I will get to this lan if it kills me.

*Important post so I'm gonna make this text really annoying and noticeable*
Team Europe = all 6 paid on CEVO!
I see more activity on the CEVO tournament page, so please make sure you find a team soon and pay up. Once again, the player fee on CEVO is now $10 instead of the $20. LAN is 3 weeks away, so don't wait until last second to find a team.
Also, I'm putting this here as a giant warning. Yeah, we got a new hall at the venue that gives us more space, but I'm not exactly sure how many more people we can fit. With that being said, please buy your ticket sooner than later, because there's a chance the event will totally sell out before the actual event.
Lastly, you can only get a refund up to two weeks before the event. Therefore, you have until next week to get a refund. I know the refund process has been very slow for some people, but we are getting a handful of refunds as of late. If you are getting a refund, please make sure to provide info@thegxl.com with your real name, your alias, and the email address you sign up with (and the paypal email address if that differs from your normal email address).
Oh, and with a lot of the cp_yukon discussion in the other thread, I've decided to add it to the map pool.

Bought my plane ticket. Anyone have an extra monitor I can use? Thinking about bringing my computer over
Also, due to events that I just learned of yesterday, I might be unable to go, but I can't confirm it until after the refund deadline. If it turns out I can't go I will try to give it to someone that needs a ticket.
Does anyone know when the actual tf2 tourney starts and ends? Also when is the earliest I can enter on the day of the tourney?
Sorry if I missed this somewhere in the thread, but what's the next best available hotel? Within driving distance.
Something less than $260 for a double preferred.

I booked at the Hilton Garden Inn, which is right next to the Hampton and is on the same premises.

The registration pages says the event is full. Can you still pay as a spectator?
Oh no......
In the meantime, if you already registered, and what Fragile said...get signed up on the CEVO site
Any issues, report them ;)

It has been discussed that our travel from Newark Airport to Philly will involve a slight detour so that Arie can visit The World's Largest Lightbuld...

Who'd want to see Edison's memorial, this guy was just a fame bitch who cared more about his own success than progress in general :s

Im still confused about the ticket pricing, the thread says its 20 per person, but the ticket vendor says its 15 for spectator, and 50 for an individual. If someone could clear this up, that'd be great.

The part of the thread that says $20 is talking about the tournament buy in, but I believe it was changed to $10 and Nick just missed editing that part of the post. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.
It is $50 to attend the LAN as a player, or $15 as a spectator. The tournament buy in is completely separate from and in addition to this.

Wait, so do we know if we can still buy in as a spectator or not? I'd like to get confirmation because I've got a couple friends that want to get a refund if I cant go.
If anyone ends up not being to go and would like to sell their ticket contact thrasher or myself. We need 3 tickets if possible. Thank you.
Tickets opened back up. When the event totally sells out for good, spectators passes won't be able to be bought.
So really, just buy your ticket now and don't worry about this becoming an issue for you.

I'm paid up and LFT Pocket, preferrably. I could play Roamer, though.
Additionally, I'm driving up from houston. If anyone on the way needs a ride add me and we'll discuss. IF I could get added to the car pool list, thatd be awesome.

freakin is correct. The tournament fee has been updated in the FAQ since the change about two months ago. I didn't feel like going through 18 pages of posts to edit out any old discussion about it.
