If you add logjam-
understand it's in beta it's not perfect and it's got issues BUT I will listen to you wholeheartedly to try and make it as good as I can! B10 might be a little useless though- I'm going to make a b11 when it's done with ETF2L season 19 pretty soon anyways.

I can add whatever version you feel is most stable / competitive. I just added the most recent one, which has the much better looking mid.

People are still going to despise it even if there's just minor things wrong about that.
I kinda want to throw in Yukon so these mapmakers don't get discouraged if people complain, but I guess we'd just get stuck in a loop of recycling old maps if Yukon turns out to be shit. No upper-level players seem to want to test new maps most of the time.

I think it would be better if you didn't have granary in this vote. Rather, you should vote only on new maps, and then have a final vote between granary and the winning map. (Although at this point keeping granary has a ton of votes so it likely wouldn't matter).
Also have you considered making news posts if possible for these? I didn't even realize this thread existed until now.

This is why Fragile is looking for an "overwhelming majority." If Granary doesn't get over 50% of the votes, it's for sure gone. It's at 47% right now. I'd say an overwhelming majority would be at least 60%, so it has a ways to go.

Lets say it finishes at 47%, now he has to run another vote anyways since 47% of people's voted won't be represented in picking a new map.

It's interesting people are voting out a map like granary (typically for stalemate reasons), yet there are maps like snakewater and gullywash.
I guess it doesn't help that if you lose mid on granary convincingly, you can often lose the round off that or at least be stuck at your last, which is a pain in the ass.

I think it's mostly because granary is a very punishing map. As you said especially on middles but also on seconds, its relativly easy compared to other maps to wipe team mostly because the fighting is happening inside.
So it's a pretty weird map to learn but the more i play tf2 the more i've grown to like granary, but, and thats one of the major problems i have with this polls, there's always far more low level shitters than actual high tier players that could rate the map appropriatly and we end up switching 1 map every season because of it.

If Granary finishes under the overwhelming majority percentage I'm wanting it to be at (hooky guessed correctly on pretty much right where I want it to be), then the map with the highest votes will get in. This is the last poll dealing with maps.
Just a reminder that it's ending tonight at midnight EST.

I'm kind of tickled that someone actually voted for intermodal.
I'll have b11 of logjam done soon- very soon if it get's picked- and I'd rather that be the map for the season rather than b10. B10 has some issues at last from what I'm hearing in ETF2L and I'd like to fix them first.

didn't you mention glassworks fragile? how come that map didn't make the poll?
TheFragileLucrative also mentioned cp_glassworks_rc2, which looks pretty cool with rc2 coming from b4nny's input.

That's cool. I'll keep in touch with you if logjam wins.
I'll promote the poll during the cast tonight, so we'll get a nice flow of votes before it ends.

yukon has always been a good map, it honestly doesn't have many terrible flaws, but people will always complain about sniper sightlines.

I looked at the map a little more, then asked the creator of the map (Crash) about his opinions on it being a 6v6 map. Crash basically told me that it's geared towards being more of a highlander/pub map, especially with a lot of the testing. He did mention that there's been a little bit of 6v6 play, though. With that in mind, I didn't want to put it in the poll and risk it being a very unfit map for 6v6 without a ton of knowledge of it definitely being 6v6 worthy.
I think I might throw it in as a preseason map, just to see the flow of 6v6 on it and to gather community input about it.

Very thankful you're giving Sunshine another season. It'll probably be twice as good as the last one because people will at least know the map a little + I'm fixing a lot of tiny problems for rc3.
I dunno whether it'd be a good choice to vote granary out or not but I think both logjam and yukon are good replacements. I'd be cool with seeing either of them in the rotation.

I assume the poll's closing after the cast? Keeping Granary is currently at 56%.

• I was looking for the Granary range to be around 55%-60%, so it looks like we are gonna keep Granary.
• An additional CEVO-P map needs to be added, so I'll add the latest version of cp_logjam (which hyce will be releasing shortly) for CEVO-P because it had the most votes.
• Because Yukon was also close, I'll put Yukon as a preseason map. There's been a lot of discussion over it recently, so I think this will let people really see if they want it for next season.
• Instead of putting up Warmfront so we have two formerly played maps, I'll put in cp_glassworks_rc2 as the other preseason map, as there have been a lot of buzz about that map and how well it might work in 6v6.

Glad to see Granary still around, also glad to see Logjam in for the professional teams- that's where some of the best feedback will come from.

Okay, this is actually amazing. Instead of having everyone give feedback on a new map (a lot of it not being of any use), the mapmaker will get mostly feedback from the top teams. I could see this being useful for final testing of maps.

Watching matches played by solid teams is SUPER useful to the mapping process. I'm excited to see how things go on Glassworks. Thanks for running it in the preseason!
If there are any minor things I could change to make the map more fitting for 6s that wouldn't hurt it for HL or pub play, I'd gladly look into them.
