do you use a tablet? try to loosin your linework up or give it an organic feel by making your own vector brush of like a inked line, then experiment with line depth and weight. it will definitely help you step away from that vector look you got going on

Synesthesia seems so interesting to me, it would be wild to have another way to experience music. If you have a chance, you should listen to Little Wing or Castles Made of Sand by Jimi Hendrix and draw what they look like to you. I'd love to see what those songs look like.

This was a drawing I made of George Harrison in 2012 in my freshman year of high school as a final for an art class. We used a grid to upscale an image onto a bigger sheet of paper. I've gotten better at drawing people since, and especially drawing smoother and more natural looking hair. This is the last "major" piece of artwork I've done other than a painting late last year.

For reference, the imaged this portrait was based off of can be seen on the documentary cover of 'George Harrison: Living in the Material World' (URLs I could find were broken).
