Hello Tf2 community!
So I was looking more forward to season 19 for some odd reason, and I don't know the official, start dates, deadlines, and couldn't seem to find out a seasonal pattern to determine it, so if anyone would care to enlighten me when it's expected to start as well as other dates about season 19 please let me know!!
Thanks a million,
Stevokenivo

what was this "odd reason" of yours?

ESEA doesn't announce details about the upcoming seasons until the current one is completed. There's usually a week or two between regular season and playoffs then another gap before LAN and then another month or so after that until the next season starts. So you're probably looking at another 3 to 4 months before season 19.

hookyHow does not announcing the next season before the current one is over mean that ESEA is spontaneous? They just have no reason to announce the next season right now. Everyone knows CSGO will have another season, and TF2 is unlikely to be dropped either. Even if they were considering it, they would first analyze the divisions to see if TF2 is worth it. They can't do this in full until the season is over.
Please note that this post is full of assumptions. ESEA could decide to drop CSGO and focus on TF2 next season, or it could die completely. But both of those are extremely unlikely.
Sorry, some of us is arrogant, and is not as "knowledgeable" as the rest of you.... some of us have lives, and don't notice, but care, just as much!

Internet trolling is big business! Honestly I think the trolls outnumber the non-trolls these days. It's too bad because it's the shit like this that has the potential to discourage people from getting into the competitive community.

He's not new, though. He's been here for a year and he even has an ESEA account, how does he not know?
But yeah when people give new people shit for not knowing, it's pretty upsetting. It should be obvious that it's part of the reason we're so small compared to the general TF2 Population, so we have no reason to complain about size.

Nobody knows, but typically LAN is somewhere in the ball-park of 1 month after the last regular season games are played - and the season will start 3ish weeks after LAN, so we're looking at an late April-May start date. Somewhere in that general area.

It's tentatively April 17-19th.
