I just went on a fucking journey.

I played as r4pture for a few rounds, before getting bored and becoming the cell known as Shia LaBeouf. A scourge filled our zone, a scouge named Sreuekjfbgvkj something. Weird name, can't remember it, but a massive cell. BUT STILL, a cell stood up, named "Kill Sjvbekhret" took up the task. KS, as it turns out ,was ruthless, and after the original threat moved on, KS reigned, and he reigned ruthlessly. As a paniced little Shia LaBeouf cell, I slowly grew to 5th, then soon 3rd largest cell in the area. To my surprise, a cell named USA, whos flag flew openly and in MSPaint, tossed me a few pieces to help me grow. A friendship was formed. A friendship that grew into feeding in an attempt to take down the massive and ruthless KS. I fed USA. USA fed me. We exchanged deaths, and tried again. Soon we became Shia4USA and USA4Shia, a tag team focused on dethroning the scourge KS, who had become what he so sought to destroy.

It was down to USAs "last life" before leaving, being just a few bunch of cells zooming around, collecting parts to toss to me. Finally, the plan was working. I was now the largest cell. By harvesting the big green explodey cells, I grew to rival and even surpass KS. A battle was waged. Tight turns, trickery, and farming were used. We exchanged explosive shots through the green cells, I was in so many pieces, and KS was nearly whole and gaining! But then....from the distance, a friend rode into battle. A friend less then half my size, but USA cares not for the size, but for the impact. Suiciding himself into me, I grew too large to absorb. I had KS trapped, surrounded by Shia LaBeouf and explodey cells, my parts reforming, no where to run, I closed in...!

The battle was won. An epic, two hour struggle had come to an end. KS was absorbed, and vanished from the game, without even a word. USA and I celebrated in tossing parts back and forth, growing from the smallest to the largest, back and forth. Finally, I dove myself into him, giving him everything I had in thanks. I returned only briefly as "Shia says GG" to find my friend again. Instantly he showered me in parts, but the time had come. With the battle won, I dove into him again and left, feeling more victorious then I had in many years.

Glorious.

how to reassemble after splitting. its fucking annoying

Its not stupid or dumb. Its fucking genius. You usually split your mass to "pounce" on your pray, but you also become vulnerable for a certain time to get consumed yourself. Thats the risk you take to get bigger. And the bigger you are, the longer it takes to merge. I had a total mass of 7k+ and it took me about 2 minutes to get my pieces back together.

There is a built in timer to keep you from splitting and merging, being stuck in split cells is balanced so you can't abuse the split boost without getting punished for being 50% mass

This is honestly one of the best balanced in-browser games I've ever seen.

the only stupid part is there's no way to tell how long until you merge, since like 90% of baiting strats work off of merging or whatever anyway.

honestly with a little bit better art design, like making the membranes flash or something on ur cell, you could convey all of this game's information easily and still retain the minimalist look

its like a 7/10 but a good patch could put it at an easy 8.5 imo
