what do we need another pug site for?

what are the upsides over competitors

This site is mainly focused on a quick game, and simply for the ease of wanting to play a game fast.

This will go more smoothly and more quickly, but other PUG sites have a more advanced systems that are great if you want to be selective on the game you enter.

I feel like the no-captains thing will really suck

Pickups are more likely to happen quicker. Also, the big turning point for me is the once we have 12, it starts meta. This basically means no person gets picked over and over. So in some PUG sites, for ex. tf2pug.me, the problem is the same invite players get picked over and over. With this, its simply whoever is queued up first, gets to play.

so its a worse tf2pickup??

May I know why no captains? I feel if I added that system, it would just be a copy of PugChamp?

Im aware TF2 Pickup is trash. What would you add to Tf2 pickup to make it better? I would apply that to my site

unless you can make a pugchamp replacement with a good UI and map banning system, there's really no point in trying
also i don't see why you'd implement a tf2mix style no captain system, allowing randoms to captain basically fulfills the same need in a better way

i'm still waiting for a pug site that makes pugs based on experience, for example, ugc players vs ugc players, open vs open, IM Vs IM, Etc.

Plus you could barely maintain an in-house pug group, what makes you think that you could make something bigger?

It hasn't even launched in NA yet and has been the best pickup site in Europe for like 2 years.

I understand how Kaneco first made the (incorrect, though somewhat logical) assumption, but whoever made the same mistake after it was explained what that mistake was and how to not make it again should seriously consider going back to primary school or not posting on forums until they've advanced past it.

Yesterday I got invited into http://steamcommunity.com/groups/fragsnfunpugs which is run by you. But before that I was invited into http://steamcommunity.com/groups/na6spugs and now you've already scrapped this?

Oh and the NA6spugs have the same mumble as the FragsNFunPugs, but when I showed up yesterday because you made an announcement you were deafened and muted so I just went and made PAN pugs and left.

You could at least stay with one project for more than 2 weeks at a time.

So this is essentially a match making service if you don't care what map you play or who you play with? I assume the benefit would be churning out games as quickly as slots can be filled?
