if you deem a faster, more responsive version of windows 7 with a different start menu a "bad OS", then i guess its pretty bad.

re: IT WAS REALLY BAD
Windows 8 is Windows 7 with better backend support + features and is faster.
The only reason anyone can possibly think Windows 8 sucks is the tiles, which you can force the OS to boot into Desktop mode and completely ignore forever.
Besides the tiles, it does not do a single thing worse than Windows 7, equal or better in every other respect.

I'll be sitting here with my working drivers/other hardware devices, and you can go ahead to the wonderful world of windows 8.
thanks m8

Task manager is better, and many programs work faster, the start menu is fine. It's a pretty good OS that's getting way too much hate
If it's not an upgrade, I will buy it for 20 bucks
I really didn't like windows 8. I really like beverages. I'd use it as a coaster and install windows 7. P.S. Vista was an awesome OS that was annoying every once in a while. It got fixed for the most part during the service packs but I think everyone unanimously agrees, W7 is the greatest. Then there's linux for you tech junkies and osx for the pretentious.
