vibhavpHeads up, Serveme integration is now enabled, TF2Stadium can automatically select and configure a server from serveme.tf. Just choose serveme.tf from the lobby creation menu.

fade-can you do something to force a config because i host lobbies using my servers and the config is always messed up somehow, whitelists and class limits are also sometimes broken
Be sure that you have the tftrue mod on your server. It's what we use to set whitelists. Otherwise, we have no control over what is actually on the whitelist. (For example, someone could have a whitelist called "item_whitelist_ugc_6v6.txt" but it could have everything allowed or everything blocked.)
If you have that plugin and are experiencing issues, it usually means your server is resetting itself (something out of our control). To fix this, you can click "Reset Server" on the top of your lobby page, and it will reset everything to proper settings.
And to add to the serveme integration: if you are a serveme donor, you get access to donor servers automatically. If you aren't a donor, you still get a list of all the regular servers. Big shoutout to Arie for explaining a few things and being super cool helping set a few parts of this up.

Just to everyone knows with the serveme integration, this adds 20+ NA tragicservers to TF2Stadium on top of the already dedicated ones :D
If anyone runs into any server issues, please feel free to email me or send me a message via Steam.

I like how TF2Stadium's serveme.tf integration is free, instead of TF2Center's which requires a €5/month payment.
Hopefully people will spend those €5 on 3 months of serveme.tf premium, instead of 1 month of TF2Center donator perks, cuz I got bills bills bills xD

The first couple days were pretty buggy, so it's understandable. We'll be having a few events and various promo things to bring more and more users to the site over the next few weeks.

This might be the wrong place for this, but I can find no place better. Part of the reason Stadium is so dead is that it lacks some basic functionality a lot of people have come to expect because of TF2C. Right now, it looks more modern, and that's its only immediate advantage. Some people don't even like that.
For one--there's no visible status for who is already in the game and mumble servers. It's nice to be able to see exactly who you're waiting on at a glance (plus, if you're in a lobby that's not mumble required, some people feel encouraged to join anyway when they see the rest of the team in mumble). For another thing, Stadium doesn't automatically open up logs after the game ends; it wasn't until my 4th lobby I noticed that it was linked in the chat. While that is sufficient, it's not nearly as convenient as TF2C.
As for hosting lobbies, Stadium has done a few things that TF2C doesn't, like saving your server's address, or the ability to add slot requirements after opening the lobby. Even there you lose some functionality as well. For example, you can't reserve specific slots for your friends--or if you can, I can't figure out how; there's a "slot password" field but nowhere to specify which slots. While these are minor issues, when there is already an alternative with a much larger playerbase that does include these small features, it's tough to get people to switch for more than a day or two.
I don't think there's a whole lot more Stadium can do to improve the experience of the average user. The layout is clean; joining a lobby, and subsequently the mumble and game, is easy, and navigating the site is done more cleanly, with far fewer tabs than TF2C (though even there I've heard people complaining that the extra tabs are actually a good feature). From my perspective, the best way for Stadium to improve right now is in shortening the lobby creation experience, along the lines of an already existing feature: saving a server's address. Quicksaved lobbies--the ability to save to a single click of a button the lobby's game mode, league config, and slot requirements, and to save to another single click both the server address and rcon password. Beyond that and bugfixes, it's a pretty site with ready systems that are less prone to error, both on the site and in game. Here's hoping!

The site could use some improvements for sure but the main reason it's dead is because there is absolutely no reason to switch over when there is already a fully functioning lobby site. This is what happens when you split the player base. It was big the first few days but there was never enough people playing or switching over. Naturally people will play wherever there is more people and everyone is back playing center now. rip

if it had actually been released at the height of center admin retardation it probably would have done well but that's all died off now

The baseline issue is the lack of a playerbase and that exists because you can't incentivize a switch for 95% of the playerbase of tf2center because of the lack of a playerbase, there aren't any real issues with the site to the average user, like say what you will about the admins but honestly that only affects a very small percentage of the playerbase. to them it is a no brainer that they will play where their are more players as they just want quick pickup games and the site with more players provides that. it's not like pugchamp and tf2pugme at all because the issue with pugme is dango quit tf2 and when issues would arrive it would literally kill pugs. i think you are going to be hard pressed to compete with tf2center's playerbase monopoly
now for my personal biggest issue with the site, please remove the map restriction, it doesn't make the game any more fun and makes it so i can't host certain maps which i actually like (such as reckoner, freight and stock granary [fuck pro granary it is aids])

Only problem I've got with that is that it's self fulfilling. More people play TF2C because more people play TF2C?
It's probably true, but if you make the switch it becomes less true. At the very least just join TF2C lobbies while you're waiting for a Stadium lobby to ready :P

A few things actually were uploaded and blocked on copyright grounds (streamers playing music and stuff in the background). Also, a lot of the things that happened on TFTV stream were lost because of issues with VODS (all on my end, not mathsad's). We have audio recordings, but have to recreate a lot of the video, which we are still wanting to do. It just takes a lot of time.

You can play any map you want. Just type it into the search bar and click the box that appears in the creation wizard! Magic!
MenachemFor another thing, Stadium doesn't automatically open up logs after the game ends; it wasn't until my 4th lobby I noticed that it was linked in the chat.
The design philosophy behind that was that we didn't want to force players to do anything without them specifically wanting to. If you want to view your logs, it's still only one click away. If you don't, you can go back to the main page (also just one click away).
MenachemWhile these are minor issues, when there is already an alternative with a much larger playerbase that does include these small features, it's tough to get people to switch for more than a day or two.
A lot of the things you've brought up in your post (primarily things like per-slot restrictions) are features that we have already discussed and will be adding soon.

since tf2stadium has been lacking in the player department, maybe try little competitions to encourage more play. Pulling from logs.tf stuff like highest average DPM for the month or highest Kills and the top 3 get some form of reward like keys or items or a server rental from tragic. Just an idea

I'm not sure if this is the reason why TF2C doesn't save server addresses but I think it's because they don't want people to spam opening up new lobbies. It's an additional barrier that they've placed to prevent people from opening new lobbies immediately upon seeing that there's no lobby open that they're interested in. Too many open lobbies means that they all get filled much slower.

Having the currently-online player count, especially by region, would probably help with this as well. Since TF2S came out I've occasionally loaded it up to check if anything is open to play, but haven't even played one yet. A big reason I haven't is that coming on and seeing only a couple lobbies open and no idea how many people are online means I've no idea how long a game will take to actually start. In the past when I've played TF2C, I could know with a glance to these numbers whether I want to add up and wait since it'll fill quickly, add up and pub without expectation of it filling, or not add up at all if its super empty.
Even better than just counting players online would be to show statistics such as mean time to start for games over the past hour. When the site's more active you could probably even come up with an estimate of the start time based on number of slots already filled (or even which slots are filled -- games prolly start quicker with medics already there), though at its current activity level you'd probably just have to base it on when it was opened.
