As a KPM user it is a BRILLIANT mouse if you like the shape. Excellent for claw and fingertip grip. Wouldn't suggest for large hand palm grip. Best scroll wheel of any mouse i have used by far, 2nd best buttons, 2nd best coating, best sensor (with newest firmware it's 3310 implementation is the best i know of), and a passable cord.

8/10
Some people get sensor rattling but it is a easy fix if your has it and mine didn't have it.

Lupushttp://www.toptengamer.com/best-fps-gaming-mouse/

outdated, and wasn't even really true to begin with..
if you would follow that list of 5, i could name another 50 that could fit it as well.

people should just set a budget and then go look for a mouse with the shape that they want.
shape/coating is probably the most important part. sensor doesn't even have to be excellent, as long as it's not retarded.
and keep in mind, cheap doesn't mean bad, and expensive doesn't mean good.

_vittoRazer's deathadder 2013 is a dope mouse, highly suggest it

I second the recommendation of a 2012-2013 deathadder if you can find one. I've had my deathadder since mid 2012 and it's still going strong. The only mouse I'd replace it with is a zowie EC1-A since it weighs much less, and has the two side buttons the deathadder has (I use the buttons for mumble/in-game push to talk, so having a mouse with those kinds of buttons could go a long way).

get zowie wont be disappointed

I was disappointed in all 3 Zowie mice i have owned. The only thing exceptional about them is there cords, weight, and lack of software. The buttons are sub-par (stiff and not very responsive) and the coatings are not very durable. The coatings on there newer mice also make my hand sweat and feel disgustingly sticky. They have the worst scroll wheel of any high end mouse i have used.

It is a surprisingly good palm grip mouse after some weight reduction (i took a dremel to the inner shell and ripped the LEDs out of mine). Probably the only good thing Razer has ever made.

DO NOT get the Chroma. It uses different firmware.

nitejust a few friendly tips from a mouse expert
  • make sure to get the mouse with as much dpi as you can. you're gonna want a minimum of 8000 dpi
  • look for a mouse with cool neon colors. red makes your mouse move faster, but blue keeps your mouse cool for sweaty gamer palms. there are benefits to both obviously, so decide wisely.
  • you're definitely going to want a wireless mouse, get those bulky cords out of the way and disconnect yourself from the matrix. wireless cords keep you free, from both the hassle of the cord and from government interference

i wish you luck during your search for gamer gear!

Screwball

i actually prefer the heavier clicks of the zowie mice, i find that the super light clicks of some logitech mice i've used are too easy to accidentally actuate with my claw grip

for this reason i've been using my za12 for 4 years and loved it

this sorta thing is very subjective per user and it's important that you actually physically try multiple mice out if at all possible.
