Unrelated interesting notes: two conferences for Open for only the second time ever (first being Season 3) for some unknown reason, and a move back to the old scheduling system which should make for more competitive matches.

Are you sure they aren't gonna merge the conferences and then redo schedules, they've never had multiple conferences for Open with this few teams.

Matches would only be scheduled within the conference, and for playoffs the top 16 (regardless of conference) would make playoffs with normal tiebreaker rules applied.

the more matches that get scheduled by RNG the less matches will be scheduled through record
i think last season had like, over half of the matches be RNGed, which left very few matches to be scheduled through a team's record and more accurately display/land teams where they belonged

Not Around Bears and us (Egg Salad) tie or close to it in like... 90% of our scrims so I will say that I disagree with us being separated across tiers. I think now that they have their roster stabilized again, they're gonna end up being a tier I team.
But they're also like my other favorite open team so playing them to start our season is crazy and and should be fun. Really cool that you're considering casting us too, Tery, I appreciate the thought!
