That it looks great and I want it but the tftv forums will be divided into spite and praise since we brought it up. Definitely looks fun
im pretty optimistic this game will turn out quite nice, have nothing against the art style personally but that will definitely be split the opinions.
As for the Timeline question i'd say before Zelda 1, empty land, hardly any civilization (so far), the old man at the beginning and overall i get a Zelda 1 HD feeling from this dunno why
Also this cant be a coincidence https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ck-ek8RWEAAEIW3.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ck-ek7NWYAImCXM.jpg

zelda+skyrim+minecraft in one game, it will be awsome.
It looks fun but to me the biggest point of Zelda games were the characters and story, and how involved into the story you got
I'd probs buy it because it still looks gorgeous, but I would like to see if its focus is the open world or if its just a traditional Zelda game

I haven't gotten a new console or bought a $60 game in a long while and this might be the game to change that tbh. It looks really pretty and promising, not sure how things will go down using the big touchscreen controller thing though
Also fwiw, Trihex went to E3, played the demo, gave his own feedback, and answered some peoples' questions on twitter last night. Ofc it's a demo so things are subject to change.

Edit: Not really into amiibos and stuff but this is really cool https://twitter.com/NintendoEurope/status/743006787188596737

its still heavily story driven, aonuma is keeping very tight lipped about the story and has actually removed several aspects of the game from the demo because they were too important to the story

I just hope while it's different it still retains a lot of the zelda series staples that I love the series for in the first place. Still super excited for it either way, my wii U is actually gonna play another game that isn't smash
This looks so cool, my inner zelda fanboy is coming out
I really really really hope this game turns out well and doesn't pull a twilight princess, with just vast expanses of land and little to do in them. The game looks really nice and the split seems super refreshing.

theres over 100 little minidungeons scattered around the world and plenty of ruins and shit to explore

Really excited for this game. The Zelda series was starting to become stale as it seemed nintendo were focused on recreating the magic of OoT. Hopefully this will be a breath of fresh air for the series.
aounma confirmed this game is so open you can actually fight the final boss from the beggining and it is beatable from the start but its gonna be hard as hell he says you have to unlock the story which kinda bothers me cause you can unknowingly skip alot of the game and wander into ganons lair on accident
I'm definitely buying a Wii for this. It looks amazing. I haven't played since MM, so is conjuring things like the plan in the trailer new? It doesn't feel like it'd fit.

This might be really fun for speedruns then, especially for bingo

100% runs will still be tight.

This looks sick, hopefully Nintendo won't find a way to fuck this one up. (Please)

Well the game isn't out until 2017, so I imagine when it drops, the NX will be out

look at this tony hawk shit. The movement in this game actually seems pretty crazy. I'm totally into everything they showed.

All the gifs I've seen so far are about the physics and shit. Do people not realize if they put this much focus into something, it's probably gonna be 3/4 of the puzzles?
It's literally called BREATH of the wild, and most physic gimmicks so far are related to the wind. They really need to do it well for it not to get dull quickly.
