Hey, looking to play soldier for a high open team that really wants to win
I’m thinking my schedule should finally be clearing up after this semester ends

Brim was a good pocket at the start of the season and before, but it really wasn't until the later part of the season where something must've clicked. He makes space for his team on every push and often does a lot of work on his own if his bombs are ignored, and his calling seems to have gotten a lot better too. Definitely a strong pocket!
Also weeb

But he's pretty cool :]
very nice dude and when I played with him I didnt notice any attitude problems at all, his dm is pretty spot on as well, calling is good, and his decision making is on point
After playing with him for 3 seasons I'll give you my full opinion.
So, as a pocket, Brimstone has monster DM, crisp rockets, creates a ton of space for his team, maincalls, usually takes low heals, and was always the most eager person to play the game. Seldom missed a scrim if he could control it, scheduled and organized so we scrimmed more, always found a ringer or a last minute scrim, if we ever had dead time or were still energized afterward we'd go right into a demo review or DM or MGE for hours, never left Mumble until long after we talked about our issues. When he started to struggle last season he immediately went looking for a mentor.
That being said, Brimstone plays very aggressive all the time, on top of playing on low heals. Sometimes he'll drop into a group of people and get three kills, but most the time he'll end up feeding. He tends to rush things a lot, tends fill in other people's roles if he thinks someone isn't doing it effectively, and usually that means forgoing the role of pocket and being a second Roamer. Those things are manageable and can work with the right team that can play at his tempo, and it's possible to reel him back in and play Pocket again, but the worst part is this usually leads to him tilting, and Brimstone is a very vocal tilter, and rushes even more and dies more frequently. (He's also pretty cringe with memes).
He's still a great friend and was a part of why ESD succeeded as long as it did, and he can only get better. Pick him up, he's a Pocket (or Roamer) who does whatever it takes to get better at the game. Plus he's spent the last two seasons in ESEA maincalling.

Pretty consistently put up the best numbers of any pocket I played against in S22, and did so without being a black hole of heals
Rang against him a few times and pugged with/against him a few times and he did great every single time. Had impressive dm and decision making.
After 3 seasons of playing together it's been cool seeing Brim grow as a player. He has a pretty aggressive play-style and doesn't take too many heals as a pocket. While I wouldn't depend on him to be the only player to make calls for the team he has gotten better at main-calling as time has gone by and he will definitely continue to get better at it. As a soldier in general he has great DM and pretty good decision making. Sometimes he tends to get a little ahead of himself, but with a little more discipline to his gameplay that problem is an easy fix. As long as he stays calm and collected he can destroy people. Brimstone would be a great pickup for any team looking for a pocket or roaming soldier.
Hits some fat rockets and towards the end of the season was putting up solid numbers in matches and scrims but I think the main issue he needs to work on is to just slow down and not tunnel so much on what he is seeing, lead pushes with heals *because he has the tendency to rush his aggression*, and to just stay calm when things aren't going well and provide clear comms with teammates. Dedicated player and I think he would do best on a team of mature fraggers.
The last week that Brimstone scrimmed with BLANC should be plenty of evidence that he's a pounder on Soldier. Pick this boy up
Brimstone is absolutely one of the nicest people I know. He is a certified pounder on pocket and an excellent caller too boot. Amazing pick-up all the way around.
bumping, as I'm not sure whether or not dagger/dflame will go play invite and leave me teamless
he is a good player and a cool guy to hang out with
Needs to keep on working on his jumps. From watching him there're lots of times he wants to or could do something really good but doesn't have the mechanics to execute it. While I did only see him on roamer, it still applies on pocket especially if he still plays with lower heals like it was mentioned in an earlier post.
Brimstone is a LORD when he isn't tilting. He has some pretty good DM (along with 6 ping ;) ), is good at making space and openings, and can communicate very well when he's feeling it. That being said, I did not find playing with him while he was tilting enjoyable at all. It's ok botstone just...dont be bad <3
Real talk- regardless of his tilting, he would be a great pickup for any team that wants to make playoffs or be in the mid-high range of IM. Give him a shot and as long as u dont make him tilt, ur golden :)

Why is it that all the up and coming soldier mains have 5 ping I don't get it where did all you people come from? I wish I could play LAN soldier online :(

Pick up Brimstone already, he is dedicated towards improving and puts in his time to do everything he can to help a team. He is just about ready to take that next step to really pounding his intermediate foes.
really nice guy and amazing pocket, one of my favorite people to pug with
I really liked playing with brimstone when I ran into him during my tryouts, calm player who takes critism and has 5 ping. try him out
I don't think I've posted on his LFT threads before so I have no fear of sounding like a broken record. Even though our season together in S24 wasn't the most successful, I enjoyed all the videogames we got to play. He's definitely mechanically capable of playing Soldier at a high level, though I don't know much of his Roamer. Brimstone can make all the calls you need from the Pocket position if necessary, so I imagine he'd be as vocal on Roamer (which is always nice). Personality-wise, he's awesome despite being, you know...a weeb. Never let a bad push or scrim or match affect him mentally and his stories / humor are great for the Mumble atmosphere. I look forward to seeing his next TF2 adventure. Good luck Brim!

great player, has a very independent style of player and a very capable caller when he has the teammates to back him, solid dm as well. Nice guy to top it all off. GL!
