Hey guys,
Having a great time here at i58,
was wondering if any of you had feedback for my casting?
Cheers, Dreamboat

your co-caster is making you look like an idiot by saying "no ur wrong heres what actually happened" imo
you did fine, you got me more hyped than sideshow did
froyo mustard s24: dreamboat is actually decent
froyo mustard s24: i think he does a lot of aus casting
karp | https://i58.tf/: tbh, yeah, I think he just needs a little work
karp | https://i58.tf/: but dreamboat is p alright
sounded really awesome in my opinion. had a few awkward pauses while you were talking but other than that it was really engaging!
I think you did great. At the beginning of the match i was not too hyped but the casting got me on the edge of my chair the full 4 rounds.
for what it's worth, i could watch the game without being annoyed by your casting, meaning you weren't far off or too awkward.
imo it helps that you look presentable (tie, jacket) as a caster, it adds to credibility, and the fact that you actually seem to care about the game itself helps a ton to get us hyped.
well sorry for not giving helpful criticism, but if you listen to those who do give it, i think you might just end up a very good caster.
keep it up man, you're doing well
there was only one moment (where it took you a bit before realizing dave got killed near spawn) where you were off tbh.
great job my man!
Sorry to be a neutral wanker, but really liked all of the coverage and all the hosts/commentators to be honest, aside from the obvious pauses while we wait.
No real feedback to give in terms of what to improve.
TBH the casting is ok but the problem that i think all tf2 suffers from casting wise is double play by play casters. I feel like you two are always cutting one another off and just providing play by play with no real analysis. It feels like you are trying to get a 50/50 split when i thnk it should be closer to 60-40 or even 70-30. This is just my thoughts from watching lots of casts, tf2, dota or even cs. We need more analysis casters to fill the down time between pushes with info about why people did things.
Your casting is pretty good though imo the au fanboying gets annoying at times
i thought you were terrific, it was the first cast i saw by you and i was thinking "who is this and why doesnt he cast more"
To expand on the double play by play casters, I think it's just common courtesy to let your caster find a moment to breathe rather than cutting them off to get your slice of the play by play. Analysis should definitely fill more time in between, rather than just full on play-by-play nonstop.
Also, I could feel your ecstasy for being a caster for such a major lan, it was nice to see you excited!
Thank you all so much for the positive and kind words. It honestly means a ton to me. I was actually super nervous going in, as it was a bit of trial by fire haha. Seriously, first LAN cast and it's at an iseries! I'm really glad you guys enjoyed it, and hopefully I'll get the opportunity to cast at another LAN sometime!
driftaDON'T SWEAR
I wish there was a facecam for when it happened. You would literally see me catch myself a second to late and then have this super dejected face realizing I fucked up haha.
Also, sorry, not sorry for the Jasmine fan boying , LETS GO AUSSIES!
Genuinely, aside that one bit where you missed where Dave got killed near spawn in via (which in the grand scheme of things is really minor) I didn't notice any issues. I think this is the best I've heard you cast, seriously bringing it on the big stage

I miss you :( when are we casting together again? I don't even care if it's an stv!
i like your casting dreamboat
one specific thing i don't like is when you assume things and cast those things that you assume happened. if you don't see something, don't say "blah blah blah the medic peaked and died" (just an example). because even if that is the most likely cause to the medic dying, there is a chance that it was something else happening entirely.
you did this on the jasmine tea process game a bit, and it subtracted from an otherwise stellar cast/game.

I was thinking when you get back we could stv cast the group stage games that weren't streamed? I always felt bummed i couldn't watch every group stage game at i-series (or maybe some of the unstreamed games tomorrow as there will be multiple games at the same time at points iirc?)
I thought your casting was great. Good hype and solid commentary.
better than most current day casters good work man.
in a few years you'll be the best caster!
because there will be nobody left :(
KevinIsPwni like your casting dreamboat

Really good point, thank you. Shouldn't be too hard a habit to break!
Keep the feedback coming :)
You have so much passion for AU tf2 it really made me care about JT during i58. Maybe I'll start watching more Oz if you're casting.
I honestly enjoyed your casts, you seemed to know your stuff about AU. Have you ever thought of casting those games on tftv? I know they have a completely different time schedule than us considering the opposing hemispheres we reside in but if you could, that'd be very interesting!

TFTV has agreed to let us (TFLIVE) deal with our own turf, so check us out!

Admittedly stuff has been slow recently because our most reliable streamer (those are EXTREMELY hard to come by in aus) is focusing on OW so we'll see what happens from here, but I believe we'll definitely be able to do finals.
