You guys work so long and so hard to bring events like this to us. You guys deserve more than I can put into words honestly. Similar to what Omni said, it's amazing to watch the behind the scenes and see people work so damn hard...

I've told my friends that have kind of scoffed at TF2 before, that we have this great community because we have to fight and build it together ourselves. I think if anything the friendships and camaraderie is the greatest reward.

Shoutouts to the analyst desk basically passing time for like 10 hours total during the breaks and stuff trying to keep people watching the stream.

Any way I can give 10 or 15 bucks to the TFTV production team for this event? I got my money's worth on the big screen :D

It was really professional, seriously on par with any somewhat large sporting event.

Thank you to poor Dashner, the production team(special shout-out to David for stepping up, cheers! And Arie for always being there whenever the community needs him), tournament admins(RIP Nymthae's day 1 schedule every year), observers, casters, analysts, eXtine, photographers, camera operators, sound guys, video/graphic design writers/editors, Omni for the HUD, article writers, general communications and chores staff, the guys who write all of the infrastructure(plug-ins, broadcasting software, websites, databases etcetera), and, of course, the players(you always end up falling in love with the Australians and then they break your heart by finishing 4th). All of you were so entertaining on camera as well, from the crew to the crowd to the players, there was never a dull moment.

Thank you to Multiplay(get better server admins), Crowns, Xenex, everyone who donated to the teams and production, Toshiba, Geel and the other TF2 sponsors of which I'm not sure who owns them. Thank you Seagull for hosting TFtv.

Hope I didn't miss anyone, thank you so much.

P.S. Valve, if you're reading this, please show the i58 outro video in your break room or something so some more of your staff might join in on developing TF2, because the current team is overworked and incomplete(you need people who better understand game design/balance and dedicated communications/opinion gathering figures).

Great job as always to everyone involved! It's great to meet all the new faces involved in the production team and competitive scene, as well as catch up with all the old ones. It's gotten to the point where I've literally grown up with a bunch of you (over 15 years ago was my first insomnia LAN (Team Fortress Classic @ i7) and some gamers from back then are still attending). We can spend a full year apart and can still come to these events and feel like a bunch of mates, ready to share a beer and a laugh.

Each time one of these events finish, people are already looking to the next one. There's still enough people in the scene with enough drive to keep these events going, the only barrier is funding. People still want to play. People still want to produce. People still want to support. The community funding makes this happen so anyone who contributed financially deserves as much praise as anyone else. I saw someone talk about donating to the production team but honestly, just support whatever the next event is as they need all the help they can get.

Thanks for letting Beta and I cast a couple of games! It's always nice to help out where we can and it's still just as much fun for us as it's ever been! We aren't always around these parts so often but if you want to leave us any feedback, requests or anything just hit us up on our twitter (arxandbeta) or something (we check it occasionally :P).

Everyone involved give yourselves a massive pat on the back. Top job as always!

Finally a massive shoutout to Dashner. While it's unfortunate you couldn't attend the event, your enthusiasm and drive for the best production possible has fueled nearly everyone involved to put on a show that lives up to your vision. The bar wouldn't be as high as it is without your continuous effort!

Couldn't be happier with the way production played our ads. I think there was a bit too much irrelevant esports thrown inbetween our finely crafted advertisements, but in the end, sometimes you need a light distraction between some intense adding.

Love the energy the casters and analysts bring to these matches. Not to mention the stunning visuals on stream as well. So much hard work and effort put into these events, in front and behind the camera. Much love and appreciation to all those that time and time again sacrifice for this game.

Long post incoming

Early last winter, one night, I was watching some of my usual Youtube channels at the time- Muselk, Sin, some other stuff, etc. I don't remember how I came across it, but I found myself watching some of eXtelevision's Top 10 Plays videos. I was amazed at some of the plays people made, and kept watching back through more and more of them. At some point, I clicked one of Youtube's suggested videos- it was an i55 match. I wanted to see what full games would be like. I was fucking BLOWN AWAY. I was amazed at the action and skill and hype of the event, I immediately fell in love. This was the most entertaining form of video games I'd ever seen, and it was in my favorite game.

I stayed up until 4 am.

The very next season, I was playing newbie mixes, joined a highlander team, and joined a 6s team. I started taking getting better seriously, I started watching streams, and TF2 went from a fun game to play in the evenings to a passion. This season I'm playing open with a team from the newbie mix team drive, and it's all thanks to the amazing production, players, and game that I saw that summer night. You caught my attention and I haven't looked away since.

Fast forward to this weekend, and I finally got to see, live, i-series TF2. I spent my whole weekend drinking in the whole experience, and it was spectacular. Thank you to the production team for providing me with one of the highlights of my summer- truly phenomenal work showcasing the best TF2 I've ever seen played live. I get so much enjoyment and satisfaction out of playing and watching this game, and it's all thanks to you guys on the production team for i55 and i58, plus all the greatly talented players, for drawing me in.

THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY AND THE WHOLE COMMUNITY I LOVE YOU ALL AND I LOVE THIS GAME <3

omniYou could say that we're idiots for continuing to support this game competitively. Well, I love idiots.

GG guys. You have always done an amazing job and although the reasoning is completely just, its a shame it wont be happening anymore. I also, love idiots

Man props to the entire production team, and SPECIAL thanks to our good friend dashner. He pours his heart and soul into this and to get it yanked away at the last moment must be the most disappointing thing in the world for him personally. What I don't think we can forget is that he spent months and months prepping for this and his finger is all over the production, even if he had to hand it off to a the rest of the crew for the event itself.
