Where's the updated compiled version? the site seems to have files from 2015
e: nvm, saw it automatically updates

Not sure if this broke with a recent update as I can't get it to load.
Downloaded what I can only assume is 4.6 from the link on the main site, plugin won't start up and I can't seem to find an error log as to why. Maybe 4.6 isn't working with the latest build of tf2? Could someone dropbox me 4.79 so I can try that out?

As far as i heard from AnAkkk, there is a problem with the host which holds the update of the plugin. So we are all waiting for them to fix the update server. And also my windows server is crashing with the latest (4.79) version.
Here is a link to it: [Link] It might work with no problem on linux so its worth a try DoctorMiggy! :)

Hi AnAkkk, i think valve may have broken some more parts of this plugin in the latest update. I use tftrue to limit weapons and classes on some public servers but that functionality seems to be not working right now.
There's no error when you put the command "rcon tftrue_whitelist_id block_everything" (or tftrue_whitelist_id 0) but all weapons remained allowed.

After playing around with my server last night I have now lost the ability to run any whitelist on the server while tftrue is active. I have completely reinstalled tftrue but the problem persists.
When tftrue is not running, everything works normally.
With everything disabled except tftrue, whitelists do not work.
Changing the whitelist through tftrue_whitelist_id (both from the command line and from an existing config file) does download the whitelist to tf/cfg/ and the autogenerated file tf/tftrue_item_whitelist.txt does contain the correct item definitions.
Other elements of tftrue work (bunnyhop, stv location, etc.)
console status output:
---------------------
TFTrue v4.79, AnAkkk
---------------------
TFTrue Version 4.79
Freeze Cam: On
Items: Hats: On | Misc: On | Action: On | Custom Whitelist ID: 6853
Maximum FoV allowed: 90
Bunny Hop: Off
Restore stats: On
STV Autorecord: On
Tournament config: None
I can't get the debug output currently, but if this is an isolated issue I'll get it.

Updated the windows version now, it should work fine after auto updating :)

Weapon restrictions are working perfectly, thanks AnAkkk. Love this plugin btw.
I can't seem to get class restrictions working though, tried re-installing the plugin and restarting my server a couple of times but I can still go on heavy with tf_tournament_classlimit_heavy set to 0

Feature request for the whitelist downloader to not do this every map change.
On config execs and changing convar or server start getting a new one should still be a thing, but it could cause unnecessary requests/writes, and there aren't that many item schema updates, checking the item schema 'hash' could be used as a check if there is need for a new one? I can provide changes to whitelist output if necessary to accommodate this.

Hmm, I'm having some issues with getting this to work on my server. I put both the latest TFTrue.vdf and TFTrue.dll file
(Its a windows server) in my server tf/addons folder. Whenever I reboot the server these messages show up in the console:
[TFTrue] The plugin is up to date!
Failed to load plugin "addons/TFTrue"
Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?

I can try to take a look when I have some time but in general windows plugins break quite easily, I'd suggest to use a Linux server for the best reliability and performance.

Alright, I may just rent a Linux server then and try if that works. Does anyone know if Multiplay's servers run Linux?
AnAkkk- Tournament classlimits working without tournament mode (for pub servers)
I'm also having problems with this not working on my new pub server using mp_tournament 0. Whitelist and all the other features seem to work fine, but the classlimits never seem to work without mp_tournament 1.
I've resorted to using the old Sourcemod classlimit plugin for now but unfortunately those don't show the Max # on the selection screen.

AnAkkkReleased an update to fix the auto updater.

I used tftrue_whitelist_id with the current etf2l 6v6 preset and I still have a good majority of cosmetics blocked which I know they normally aren't blocked. Any idea why? tftrue_no_hats is set on 0 btw
TFTrue has been updated w/ the following changes:
- Update SDK (fixes TFTrue breaking with latest [9/17/21] TF2 updates)
- Update DLL for windows (fixes TFTrue not working at all on windows)
- nontrivial changes to not reload or redownload the whitelist when unneeded, reducing load on whitelist.tf
- added pause logging and a cvar for verbose pause logging (enabled by default, shoutouts to weithoofd)
- updated restore stats description
- tv_snapshotrate now defaults to 66 instead of 33
and other internal changes.

Ok so after removing and reinstalling sourcemod, without giving myself admin and only using rcon commands through console, I wouldn't get that output anymore. Turns out that is just a warning message for the admins.
After I gave myself root admin flag and use again rcon exec etf2l_whatever_config.cfg, I would get those messages.
Furthermore, to make sure I have the right whitelist, I went to etf2l_6v6.cfg, and specified which whitelist I wanted to be executed- on line: tftrue_whitelist_id (there used to be a .txt file etf2l_whitelist_6v6.txt and I had to replace it with the current etf2l season whitelist which is 11968) and that was it.
