Wasn't 6v6 with class limit of 1 already called prolander? Why is 7v7 called the same way? Can I make an 8v8 event and call it prolander as well?
I swear to god I opened this thread and it started pouring down with rain outside

The only show match of a shitty format I'll ever care about
And I thought valve would be the ones that killed tf2
can someone seriously explain to me a reason that we need/want this format besides "sigafoo"

you likely wouldn't satisfied regardless of what the answer is tho

But the 6s meta is stale!! Surely if we try and start from the very beginning with a new format it won't cause any bad repercussions right? And seeing more spy, engie, and heavy will make the game more enjoyable and make valve throw money at it and make into an eSport instantly!! Surely the competitive scene has more than enough players to sustain even if the format fails, right??
thank goodness for satire

These reactions seem pretty harsh.
It's TF2, it's something new, and some of us will have a lot of fun, maybe not you. It's perfectly okay to have a dismissive opinion, but I think there's some gratuitous rudeness here--sigafoo has invested a lot of effort into this and it's because he's passionate about a game we all enjoy. Maybe there are some things for you to be positive about here despite your qualms...no need to a downer, eh?

Yeah! Like... um... uhhh... I got nothin
Edit: The absolute best case scenario of pushing the "new format" this hard is fragmenting an already small community and doing nothing for the current competitive scene as a whole, so please, do explain.
