i think that lowpander were joking about giving them a default win waiting for a server, and etf2l took it literally

tldr: people bitching about servers, me and hildreth agree to play 1 map each on german and non german server, ubrs refuses to join non german server, we wait for 25 mins with only muuki joining, muuki tells us to get def win.

My inside sources tell me the drama is that muuki did not consult lowpander before telling the other team to take a default win because he was tired of uubers being stubborn. Uubers was insistent he didn't want to give in to a team with samski on it.

It's such a shame that this happened in prem :(

couldn't u just forfeit the game on the non-german server and then play the game on the german server

I gave them the default win because my team was unwilling to play the first map on their server where our pocket had 20ish more ping because he "doesn't want to give in to their demands" and he wasn't going to change his opinion (and he still hasn't). I've apologized to (almost) all of my team and understand that I'm at fault here, but I'm not interested enough in having to deal with 45 minutes of nonexistent server issues every official just because the enemy team holds some players my pocket doesn't respect

I do understand Unexpected's frustration and why they took the opportunity presented to them but it's not as black and white as Adysky makes it out to be. Equally I won't criticise Muuki or Ubrs, Muuki wanted to be the bigger man and give them a (very,very tiny) advantage in server ordering, Ubrs wanted to go through the rules of the league and have them applied by the book out of some crazy Latvian principle which we all went along, When you go down this route you delay the game until a team contacts an admin, we both did but they sided with Unexpected on the strength of what Muuki did. Rest of us never sought a default win, only for an admin to resolve it.

I won't go into too many details but we're disputing this default win, we made a Match Complaint to the admins, it's on them to decide if this stands, we feel the case for the default is unfair but I won't disclose this information as it's not relevant here, only to those making the decision.

Never seen anything like this before in my life, it's very very petty and I won't argue against our own involvement on how petty this issue was. But it's unfair we lose the game when Unexpected were equally as unaccommodating to us as we were to them on this particular issue. In future I'd rather see my team not go through these server disputes again and just play the game, instead of applying every ETF2L rule to the letter of the law, and delay games.

How is it an advatnage to play on our server first then play 2nd map on yours, it's like arguing that you have to eat blue m&m's before red m&m's because they visually apply to you more, unless you have a serious OCD disorder there is literally no reason to even start an argument on which server we should play first.
After 15 minutes of waiting with my full team ready to play on our server and agreeing that we will play 1 map each on server of our choice the only feedback i get is that your pocket is acting like a manchild and 5 minutes later muuki joining and telling us to get a default.
I didn't know any further information about your teams internal problems, can't blame us for accepting the default win after one of your leaders asks us to claim it. It's not me being responsible for your teams decisions. Sure we've been equally as unaccommodating as your team about the issue but it was your team that asked us to get a default win, it seemed reasonable at the time as it was 20 minutes after the game was supposed to start and only 2 of your players showed up on our server. I see no reason to overturn the admin decision on defaulting this match.
