I can't think of a single top team without at least one tf2 player (save for the koreans since I didn't know much about the asian tf2 scene)

Ruwin is almost done with grad school and is streaming OW quite a bit as a top 500. Not necessarily a "greater' adventure. But an adventure.

Adaswrath stopped playing tf2 for a month and a half and has recovered his vision, has become ripped, IQ increased by 200 ,gets laid every day, has lambo, invests in beancoins, and is a successful vice president of his own organization. Tf2 was holding him back

AdasWrath stopped posting on tftv for a month and a half and has recovered his real life relationships, has become human, lowered on the autism spectrum, got laid once, has a weekend job, invests in working hard, and is a successful graduate of whatever high school he went to. Being a low tier shitposter was holding him back
It must suck for top tf2 players seeing worse tf2 players being succesful in ow.
it's hard to argue that zebbosai, knoxx, tviq, yuki, termo, nanohana, pine, seagull, numlocked etc were worse players than anyone playing now. they were all at the top level of their respective regions

most of the players that went on with overwatch are players who were confident enough that investing their time would be worth it, and were arguably better than the ones that didn't move on.
