I've been waiting for a few weeks for pugchamp to get servers from fog so I contacted him again.

Seems like Fog's going to buy servers and give them to pugchamp because converting the servers apparently isn't the easiest. He also wants pugchamp admins to add him so that communication can be easier. I do think pugchamp admin's communication isn't the best. because I've heard of people offering servers and not getting a response, but maybe they just aren't directed properly since I've heard not to contact tsc or erynn through emails but through nursey and jarrett.

I've been constantly getting disconnected from Pugchamp today for some reason

Like literally every time I press reconnect it disconnects again

Anyone know what the issue is?

yo chrome is telling me the site is unsafe, and when I proceed I'm just getting the brown background and no text, and even if I refresh a billion times I get the sidebar with players/games/home/etc. but no main text

other people told me they were getting it but if they hit "proceed to unsafe site" it would work as usual

Erynn, thanks for setting up fog's server! Now we have four servers, and we're going to use all four in a few mins, which is really cool.

Thanks fog for buying a 12-player server and handing it over to pugchamp for no compensation. You're the best. Thanks for allowing me to rope you into helping pugchamp, this surely will benefit the competitive community.

suggestoin: give captains a "request close" button for when server problems happen

So, apparently I got banned from EU PugChamp for "excessive offclassing". This is in theory fair, but I think what I did was more against the letter of the law rather than the spirit.

Tried hard during entire pug, only offclassed to sniper, didn't refuse to switch off it or anything. Not to mention, having your scout on sniper on product is an entirely valid strategy which is also sometimes used at the top level of tf2.

And yes, also to be fair I wasn't aware there was an exact percentage (33%? I had 35% sniper played. Too strict enforcement of the rules imo) of minutes you can't go on offclass or getting banned, which is also my fault, but reading the rules isn't very easy: https://imgur.com/a/G5J8f

Furthermore, I got banned by the very same player (who is also an admin) who got very upset that I killed him.

Considering this is what was said about me, I think it's safe to say these reasons are personal, and not due to me not following the rules.

I think it's better to crack down on offclassers with ill intent rather than the ones who are trying their hardest to win the game.

In conclusion: Don't crack down on players using valid strategies to win. Would you please unban me?

playing against snipers in pugs in general is aids, it might be used a lot in high level but teams have actual coordination that make it way easier to deal with a sniper than a pug team. so you're ruining the game for 6 gamers :)
