I rang medic for them one night and they expressed interest in me joining their team but I told them I wasn't sure what I was doing next season as this season isn't even over yet. Why would I throw a game to need a good reason to leave the team when I can just say "hey guys, I'm playing on a new team next season". lol that makes total sense...
anyways, about the whole ddosing thing. I, personally, am not accusing bape or anyone personally of ddosing me during the game. All I know is that I definitely was ddosed and it coincidentally happened to start after I switched to sniper and started to get lots of kills. My internet was perfectly fine throughout all our scrims leading up to the match as well as all the way through the middle of the 2nd round when I switched to sniper. It then came back after we lost 2 rounds due to playing 5v6 where I joined back at halftime with my internet perfectly fine for the next 2 rounds where we won again. Then again magically my internet goes bad at the end of the 6th round just in time to play 5v6 the last round to lose. And to top it all off my internet magically turns back on shortly after the match. Once again, I am not saying bape personally did it, but I definitely was ddosed, and I think the whole situation is pretty sad where people need to ddos playoff matches for fun. I am just upset that my team and I couldn't play a game without getting disrupted and nobody can do anything about it. Not going to point fingers or place blame but it really needs to stop.

yea, they knew I was getting ddosed at that point and they still made sure we weren't allowed to pause again, or for longer than the rules stated in order to play 5v6. pretty awesome.

I'm going to be very disappointed if ESEA does nothing about this. I understand that there might be a lack of evidence for the fact that blacky didn't do that netstat thing, but I really don't want this to turn into DDoS Fortress 2.

If it cant be directly proven that it was someone on the other team, ESEA should at least a rule were if someone can show an admin a photo of their cmd after netstat, they can reschedule their match.
The only realy problem with this is that if a team is losing, they could have someone ddos themselves...

Like, I've played in matches where someone paused and the concept of "how long are they allowed to pause?" didn't come up until LONG after it was clear that the other team had exhausted their resources and we really were just wasting time sitting here staring at the PAUSE on our screen for 20 minutes. Maybe I'm just not an ass-hat, but the first thing that goes through my mind when the other team pauses isn't "how long until we can force them to unpause?" Someone on Dobbb's stream said "I don't want to sit here waiting for an hour for them to unpause". That's a pretty bold statement to make when the pause has only lasted 2 minutes and you don't even know what caused the pause.
Their conversation and train of thought during that pause seemed very abnormal compared to the general conversations I've had on teams where a paused occurred. But that's just compared to my experiences.

well yeah but what we had here was a tied game scenario (3-3) that was decided by DDoS
regardless of the pause rule the match result is dumb
also as shown by the screenshot of in game chat Toon Gang acknowledged that it could have been DDoS and clearly it was a case of no fucks given

(a) its a dos/ddos
(b) its from this exact esea user with this specific ip
