It’s been four years since the last TF2 LAN in Asia —almost an eternity in TF2 time. Since then, the scene has changed drastically as new teams formed and disbanded. And while the player numbers have shrunk a bit, the ambitions and passion of the Asian TF2 community remains lively. Like a phoenix rising from its ashes, AFLAN18 was reborn.

This year’s event is looking to be highly competitive, with the top 3 teams from the latest AsiaFortress Cup all signed up to play. A%%, The Chess Foundation and Xiao —who placed in 3rd, 2nd and 1st place respectively— will be eager for rematches on LAN to determine who is the best team in Asia. AFLAN18 will also double as a celebration of the 10th anniversary of AsiaFortress, which continued to be at the heart of Asian competitive TF2 scene.

AFLAN18 will begin at 11 AM HKT on the December 15th and run until December 16th at 8 PM. The event will be held inside the Gam3 Asia eSports Arena in Marina Square, Singapore. The event will be covered live at twitch.tv/rednaxelawee.
