I'm awful at games but TF2 has a very observable power creep. I hit 2 airshots this month but that's 1 more than last month.
It seems to pay off more than CS or Overwatch.

Probably the most entertaining game to try and break down and cast/analyze, with its unique mix of heavy mechanical skill, gamesense, and teamplay. There's also lots more shenanigans that happen in TF2 compared to other games like CSGO. High level offclass plays are super fun to watch, and can be quite funny, especially if something that shouldn't work does. In games like CSGO you only really get that kind of novelty on pretty rare occasions like knife kills or high risk bomb defusals.

It's also very easy to come back to something you're comfortable with; I know I've definitely been exploring other esports like CSGO and OW but the ability to just come back and within a few weeks derust playing/casting/observing can be extremely refreshing.

It's also where all my friends are <3

Great people and teammates I've made over the years. Also I finally got an actual computer early last year so I'm not about to quit anytime soon.

all the weird mechanics, the movement, the raw skill combined with the team work and strategy.

Last but not least, the people. I live for the lans!

all other FPS games just ultimately play out in the same way with abilities, while tf2 just relies on raw fragging power. no management of cooldown, just going out there and shooting people

I actually really like the 6s meta as it is right now. You do see every class every now and then based on what your team wants to do, to the point where some teams have appointed specific offclass players besides sniper.

Cyanicthe friends i have made in the community

Why does this comment have minus frags?
Honestly tf2's close knit community is pretty much the only reason I still check on this game. It's the only game I've ever made real life friends off of.
