I'm excited to announce ESEA League Season 14, which will feature a global Invite division for CSGO, League of Legends Intermediate, new European and Latin American divisions, and over $90,000 in cash prizes. Season 14 will also feature a number of improvements based on user and team feedback from Season 13.
Registration for S14 is now open and will remain so until Monday, May 6th, 2013 at 11:59pm CST. Once registration closes there will be a few days for teams to get acquainted with the system and to schedule their first matches, which will begin Sunday, May 12th, 2013.
Key Changes From Season 13 to Season 14:
Increased overall prize pot from $83,210 to $90,000+
Increased North American TF2 Invite prize pot by $3,000+
Added North American CSGO Main division
Added North American LoL Intermediate division
Added European CSGO Intermediate division
Inaugural Latin American CSGO Open division
Increased number of League servers on new hardware to ease scheduling availability
Features of ESEA League include:

Every registered team will receive a free ESEA Voice server
Complete web match scheduling
SMS scheduling alerts
All matches played on our ESEA servers across 14 global locations

Building on our biggest season yet, worldwide expansion continues with new divisions across the globe. While on a personal level I'm saddened by the need to phase CS 1.6 Invite out, being able to take that prize pot allotment and use it to bolster expansion elsewhere helps put things in a positive light for the overall scene.
CSGO on ESEA continues to grow unchecked, Europe now accounts for over 20% of our Premium memberships, and we're excited to see what the upcoming Global CSGO Invite LAN will do for the community in terms of exposure and further growth.
Team move ups and move downs, a full prize pot breakdown, as well as the map rotations will be announced within the coming weeks so be sure and check back often.

Why would you want more teams in invite again? It it just so you don't have to play a team 3 times? I think it will still be the top 5 teams and then the rest no matter what.

Second that. Invite it meant for the 'Illuminati' or the 'Elite'. Making the division too big would kind of tarnish the whole 'The best of the best' image. 9 Teams in Invite though would be sexy.
