It has everything to do with why LoL is popular. It wouldn't have half the comp scene it does if Riot wasn't pumping cash into every tournament. If they just stopped, even now after it's established, prize pots for LoL would plummet.
half of lol's comp scene is bigger than any other games comp scene friend. this is ignoring the fact that you're horribly wrong in the first place
heeroi was standing on dm6 bridge with my lg out looking straight at fatal1ty. he had his lg out too. i did a 360 to make sure he wasnt baiting me with 2000000 of his teammates around to save his ass. i thought it was just going to be a normal, man-to-man, 1v1 lg duel, professional accomplished video gamer jonathen fatal1ty wendel vs. young asian high school boy collin heero yeung. the clock ticked down. FIGHT. i started lging, i was winning, i was ecstatic, oh my god i was beating fatal1ty.............. and then he dropped off of bridge. i chased him - my fatal mistake. i had been duped - there was the rest of his team, ready with lg, and i was no match for fatal1tys fucking gay ass jewish nigger tactics. as my corpse fell gracefully to the ground i hear a beep and i read the chat:

he's such a weird guy. he seems to only stream ffa and only duels people new to the game.

r4ptureAny game that needs to be altered to be "playable" fails as a competitive game. Smash bros is another example of this. While there is more DM skill in 6s, it lacks the overall appeal TF2 has because it takes away so much that makes the game fun (class limits, unlock bans, map type bans).
To be honest, Highlander is and has been the biggest shot at making TF2 big, as much as a lot of people don't like to hear it. HL takes all the things that make TF2 fun, and makes it competitive. As much as I like watching 6s, I'll always enjoy HL more in both observing and playing because it uses far more aspects of the game. 6s, right now, is the TF2 equivalent to No Items, Fox Only, Final Destination in Smash Bros. It may be more competitive, but its more limited, and brings in far less people.
Anyway, this is all fairly offtopic from the OP but w/e.

To fill his shoes you'd likely need to be high open/im experienced... I'm keeping it kind of open ended though because I made the team to teach my new friends the game. I go over stuff for them and all that stuff.
the team itself isn't very good, although I assume it would probably be significantly better by post-season. anyways add me ty friends
